This is actually a fact. JW's aren't actual friends. They were people you're only suppose to associate with. JW's will drop you instantly if you break a rule. Real friends stick by you no matter what.

My best friend growing up was a jehovah's witness. I wonder how she's doing as an adult after realizing I was nothing like she was told worldly people are. We grew apart in our 20's because our relationship caused her to be privately reproved . 10 years later and I still dream about her all the time. I love her as much as ever. It is very sad,to learn of the abuse, It is pretty accurate the insulate culture you have brought out that goes with abusers,not only for sexual abuse.... They actually deny you the God given privilege to live your life in honour of your Lord and your God. They deny you the God given privilege to use your own brain and to think and judge according to your own intellect free from their manipulation. The Most High God will bring justice upon this organisation I was told this when an angel was chosen by Yahuvavhey God to speak with me. That angel saw recompense coming upon certain men who are causing all the distress on the people who seek to know. the Most High God and His Son. Judgment is so near at hand.

@@andymoon5752 Thank you for asking! I have been telling everyone about this phenomena but no one so far will listen. Every word is written in scripture and also what relates to this in history is denied and blocked. The story is as follows:/. In 1966 I came to realise the horrors of the two world wars, I was hearing about 'big science' being god and evolution being fact. I had not been brought up religious except for 'Catholic so called education'. I left school without one certificate not all my own fault I put this to you because I will explain that my Elohim or Holy Spirit from our Heavenly Father is what has taught me and guided me. I was in the company of another teenager when a person who appeared as a 'lady' spoke first to my companion. I had begun to pray asking why God had permitted all the horrors of war to happen! Why he had not stopped it! I was about to leave when the 'lady' called me by name telling me she not to go away she must talk to me. Reluctantly after much persuasion I obeyed and followed this person who had told me she had come from heaven in answer to my prayers. I was told many things no one else knew about all about my life. I was told to remove my shoes as I was about to enter into the presence of the Most High God. In later years when I began studying the bible I was directed to Exodus 3:5 and Joshua 5:15 and knew that was what these prophets had been told to do. Just as Moses had a glow after this so did I. I didn't know that until my companion told me and asked if her skin glowed also. I lied saying it did but didn't understand what she was referring to. My glowing skin must have influenced my mother because as would be uncharacteristic of her she agreed to accompany me to be spoken to by the 'lady'. When we went looking for her we saw a person who at first I thought to be a gardener. Neither of us realised it was "Jesus Christ' whom I spoke with. He was wearing what was to me strange clothing being a white linen robe with a gold band across his waist. Then the woman came out to speak with my mother. The reason I write about this is because I was instructed to find two persons who will listen to the factual evidence of the fulfilment of prophesy. These prophesies are not what is taught by religions and theologians. That is because this world is following the 'Wild Beast', Rev. 13:4-13 who even makes fire come down from the sky in the sight of men. Is that not nuclear bombs? How else could that be explained? I have written quite a lot so far let me know if you want me to continue if we are permitted on this site?

Thank you for sharing this story. I went through a very similar experience as you. My husband and I moved away from Calgary a few years ago to rural Alberta and we were able to start fresh. I finally realized that I had dreams and goals that I had suppressed for years. I never wanted to be an elder or ministerial servant and so I was always looked upon as not spiritual when in fact I was just the opposite I love the Lord still love the Lord but I could not be an elder or ministerial servant and look down upon people and that's exactly what they do they judge people far as I know there's only one judge I'm so sorry for what you went through as far as I know it never happened in our Hall but so much more happened we had a lot of self-righteous snotty stuck up think you're better than everybody else people in our Hall

I was raised as a JW in Mexico. I had 4 brothers & 4 sisters. My Dad was the 1st one to become a JW because he was at a vulnerable moment(he lost a son who was my twin brother and was only 2y/o)when a JW preached him and started the brainwashed . My father had to live a life up to JW expectations. I was the youngest so by the time I grew up my father was so stressed out & having marital problems with my mother. None of my brothers or sisters got baptized & got married. In eyes of the organization he was not a good father so from being an elder become just a regular JW. He felt demoralized & his problems with my mother become worst!! I was 14 y/o when he started grooming me. My mother & one of my brother’s were aware of that. From being the role model of his kids I become the black sheep. My father continued abusing my mother “economically “, to one brother physically & I was physically & continued being groomed by him til the point of trying to committing suicide. When I was 16 my father came to USA alone & everyone felt free. I went to school & finish a career. When my father returned after 2 years , I saw him as a complete stranger. We came to USA then I was the 1st one that wanted to attend JW meetings. I married with a JW. I become a full time pioneer for 3 years. After that there was a huge problem in our congregation & we left. A year later I got pregnant but my parents & 2 sisters & 2 brothers become JW. It has been 25 years now that We left JW. This year my husband & I will celebrate our 30th anniversary. My son will turn 26 years. JW think that you will not be happy or successful without them. I went to college & earned 2 degrees. My son is in medical school. My husband & I have survived til now. We don’t attend to any church but believe in God.

It is wonderful that you and your husband are free and it is sad that your family have not woken up. You are an absolutely wonderful person. I am now a JW and never was but seeing them cart witnessing, the young women they look so old the way they dress. When I pass them I always say a silent prayer and pray that they wake up.

I'll never understand women joining religions or similar groups with mysoginistic views. I can only understand people born into them, since they are raised believing there's no other way. I'd recommend, if you really, really must join a community, (political, religious, or whatever) read more about their philosophy, what they really think of women, look for info in various sources. it's better to experience a minor disappointment in the beginning rather than after you invest your time, energy, hope or money for people and ideas that crap all over you, smiling "politely" at the same time.

I came into the JW religion at the age of 33 after my father died. I was told to never seek out apostate literature as Satan will surely put doubts in my mind. At that time also, internet access wasn't available for me, so I couldn't research the JW's even if I really wanted to. Could go to the library I suppose, but I never did. I just trusted my study conductor that what I was learning was the truth, but she failed to mention that should I ever leave, I'd be shunned by all JWs and JW family members. Also was led to believe to trust in the GB, even though I always had doubts about them too. Now I know better and I'm out!

When woman was caught in adultery, she was about to be stoned to death but what did Jesus do? Jesus lifted a stone and said: He who is without sin let him throw the stone first. I'm so happy for you. You are now free... I'm still struggling because because I'm not yet free from this organization. I suffered from Depression... I lost my passions beacuse of the standard they front of me. I stop dancing, writing, creating crafts because i have guilt that I should put Jehovah first and while doing that I'm not happy at all. My wife is a JW but has been expelled for 3 years for marrying me, an outsider. She lost all her friends family everything. All her family lives in different state and when she lost it all i mean all except me. I went to the meetings for a good year and a half to try to get my wife in good standing as being a JW is or was her life. During this time i was brainwashed to the point i considered getting baptized. One day i just snapped out of the illusion and knew i had to leave. During my year and a half i was able to see the fakery there is a lot of bad people who are nosy and love to spread gossip. They just looove to spread rumors and act like their a good "sister/brother" everyone not married is having sex, and everyone gets married early just to have sex. Some people are good and follow the rules but that's few. Children getting brainwashed a lot of ridiculous rules. Some dude slept with another mans wife and they just said Jehovah will handled it that was it. I could go on for days but id never end. One thing ill say is since my wife's been expelled shes living a way better life. But i don't know how to get her to leave as she has the idea of returning one day.

That was a good testimony, I am so glad for you, especially that you have found yourself in a Christian church. I've seen many leave the JW's only to become non-believers. You can now live your dreams, and as for those who shun you, just pray for them. Hopefully, they too will wake up.

My niece was molested by an elder when she was 15, the hell our family went through was a nightmare. At one point, one elder said my niece was partly responsible, because she was boy crazy. Some of the reasoning they gave us, made no sense at all. I'm sorry you went through that, it breaks my heart to hear that. Thankyou for sharing, I know it couldn't be easy. This channel is healing. My family of 5 had a circuit assembly part years ago because we were a exemplary family in the organization. All 5 of us have since woken up. @@alyssawoodman wow... long story... let's just say I was severely wronged by someone. Marriage of 18 years failed and I decided to come clean about something I had done as a teenager. There was this new x CO downgrade to elder that had just joined out congregation, he acted like he was god's right hand. He went on a disfellowshiping spree. I was one of his victims. Within a month I found the Matt Dilahunty and the "atheist experience" and never looked back. It's hard to lose every thing... but my life is better that ever. I'm glad to see that you guys are also enjoying your freedom.

Go to one in your area that is true to the word of the bible & dosent make up their own doctrines like JWs do. Pray about it! Let God guide you :) and find one that dosent give you ptsd & has a group of people you can be friends with! Remember, the bible says "where two or more are gathered in my name, I am there". So even meeting with a fellow Christian over coffee is "church" ♥️♥️
