Glad you did a bit of a guitar comparison. No other reviewer did this so it’s great to see its versatile enough to do both voice and instruments.

Started using the MV7X through a Mic Mechanic and it sounds really great.

Thank you man for playing the guitar. I was debating the MV7 because I didn’t know what a recorded acoustic sounded like.

I recently got the MV7 I love the mic I switch back and forth between that and the Rode NT

Which is the best for singing ? Mv7 or RodeNT?
@CraftyShawn3 жыл бұрын
@@tusharwader both the difference is NT is a Condenser mic the other and the MV7 is Dynamic Mic it comes down to where you recording the MV7 is a mini SM7B the mic Michael Jackson recorded the thriller album is a famous mic

@@CraftyShawn Hey thanks for the reply. I know the difference. Its for a home set up. nothing sound proofed. but still recording vocals would be good in wch one?
@CraftyShawn3 жыл бұрын
@@tusharwader MV7 for your environment the NT is really sensitive like all condenser mics it will pick everything it beat used in a soundproof environment in contrast the MV7 does have noises cancellation which makes it better for non-treated recording environments

I like the resonance of the Bright tone. Very nice. The budget-friendly FDUCE SL40 XLR/USB is similar to Shure MV7.

Hi there I bought this mic and it’s on its way, I do song covers where I’m playing guitar and singing at the same time, will the mic pick up both my voice and the guitar?

Thanks for the video. I am not able to record acustic guitar with this mic with Audacity. I do not know what is wrong. The software just does not pick up any sound from the guitar.

I don't know why they sell this microphone as "podcast mic", I guess this is one of the most powerful microphone price/quality

thanks for the video. One question - how far from the mouth should one keep it ideally to have the best sound? Is it like one of those mics which need to be say 4-5 inches away or is it like one of those which are 12-18 inches away? Thanks.
@audiotechnologymag3 жыл бұрын
4-5 inches is a good distance. Maintains warmth and presence while minimising plosives.
