I would suggest including a little 5 port Ethernet Switch in the Rack, to allow the SLXD Group-Scan feature to simplify the frequency setup. You could then still save a single external RJ-45 for WWB and software update.

It might be a nice idea to add a DB25 connector on the back panel, wire it up to 1/4" TRS jacks of wireless receivers and replace the 8-channel XLR snake with a DB25 to 8*XLR converter cable. Keep the XLR jacks unremoved. This would (1) simplify setup process of the system - you only need to plug in 4 connectors instead of 11 on backplate, and there's no chance to make a wiring order mistake at the rack side; (2) offer traditional XLR connectivity as a backup when DB25 fails; (3) eliminate the need of an expensive standalone mic signal splitter if separate consoles are used for FOH and monitor; (4) enhance compatibility with rackmount multitrack recorders and audio interfaces in cinematic sound recording applications - A single DB25 to DB25 cable can be used to hook up all eight channels. No fuss from eight XLR cables.

I agree with this, or a Soco type connector for better durability.

I second this! I’d love just the pelicans, the custom racks, with the ports already pre installed! I already have 4 SLXDs (2 channel each)

How did you wire the 8 sixd’s to only one antenna distributor? I thought you could only connect 4 misc and 1 through

. Same question. I think they are using some UA221

They’re the dual receivers so only 2 BNCs per 2 channels of wireless
