The steering wheel is on the right side because this car was for the most part was made to sell in Japan and a few other places which all used cars with the steering wheel on the right and the left lane being forwards. Nissan also didn’t intend to make these the right spec for the US

Anyone that is a rural letter carrier for US Postal Service has to supply their own vehicle typically and many of them are still using 92 2003 Subaru Legacy wagons which were specifically built 4 that market full us spec but with right hand steering. Also quite a few Jeep Cherokee Wranglers and liberties also so equipped with those customers in mind...

in seeing prices of 30-40k for these and I shake my head wondering wtf that's about. it's because it's a "dealership". I've imported 4 cars from Japan privately (tried to make a business from it but funds and married etc made it hard. I can import the cleanest gtr for 20k to my door and as low as 13-14k for a lower grade gtr. I'd be effing thrilled to make 20k profit

I saw some of the TopRank importer comments were bad so I never bought a car there. I saw a comment how someone bought a car thinking it would be good, and the dealer said “if you have any questions contact us.” After buying the car he ran into so many problems with the VIN and more, and TopRank just stop responding to him and never answered phone calls anymore. Skylines are everywhere in Australia. They used to build them in Australia too. If the VIN starts with a "6" it was made in Australia. If the VIN starts with a "J" it was made in Japan.
