In Circus we call this position "flag". The most important part in this trick is that you have to twist your wrist inside until the upper side of the palm will facing your back. And try to pull the top leg to the back. A free hand should be extended above the head,as if lying on the ear. About 2:39 - I can say just one thing, I can say just one thing make stronger abdominal muscles. And don't forget to twist your wrist. Have fun!!

Hello missporty4u! Thank you for your words! This tricks I start to do in 2008. But before that I had already long experience of aerial strap and tissue work. All the strength training is on the video, plus exercises with elastic bandю And of course stretching after every workout. Good Luck!

Thank you so much for your nice comments about my video and about me. Normally I start my training from 45 min warm up and stretching then one hour training,on straps or tissue, and after that again stretching. On the days when I do cardio and exercise for the abdominal muscles and back I do only 30 min of straps or tissue. But my trainings are in very high tempo. All this tricks, and more,I normally do in 45 minutes. And the first trick in this video, that's beginning of my warm up on the straps...

Beautiful work, and great control! However, I am curious whether you have had professional training? Seems like the biomechanics of your motions would create quite alot of stress on your joints, leading to the possibilities of future cartilaginous injuries. I only ask this because I often see young, untrained individuals who see cool tricks and moves of gymnasts and try to replicate them only to cause severe and slow healing injuries. Regardless, thanks for sharing, it was a work of art.

You are amazing! How many hours do you train? Can you recommend conditioning exercises for beginners? I want to have muscles like yours. And the way you are able to manipulate your body in the air.... I'm speechless.

@ShustovaEkaterina You wouldn't be willing to give any tips for the moves at 1:43 and 2:20 (reverse meathook I believe people call it) it is the one move I have been struggling to learn but I always fall out of it. Do you have to have your arm bent? does it need to be on your lower back? How did you learn to raise up to it with no momentum like 2:39? Sorry for all the questions, just this move fascinates me and I wonder if I'll ever be able to hold it on my own lol

Thank you so much for your comments! :-) This is the different type of Straps. I do not know how to explain to you what's inside, but they are lined with suede on the outside. Yes, on my wrists I have little bit of tape, not to rub my skin so much. Best wishes.
