My shusui koi is big and has not develop the red on it. What do I do to get the red?
@Aboutkoi3 жыл бұрын
When it is bigger and older already, the changes that red/orange will develop are very, very small. I think you can't do anything about it unfortunately
@taariqmohammed1523 жыл бұрын
@@Aboutkoi ok thanks but it has like an orange spot to the face. I hope it spreads. She is a beautiful koi , big like 22 inches. Two and a half years old

@@taariqmohammed152 Very nice! I hope as well that it will develop very nicely

Whilst not one of my preferred varieties, i must say you chose the order of those five well :)

My Shusui is 15 inch but has only 2 small orange - red spots at it's head. 😅.
@Aboutkoi2 жыл бұрын
Ah really, is there no red/orange visible on another area of the Shusui?
@chelseaplay33802 жыл бұрын
@@Aboutkoi Yes, there is no red/orange on another area. But the fish have scales on their backs like Shusui.
@Aboutkoi2 жыл бұрын
Was it there before? Or it just completely disappeared over the time? It still probably is a shusui indeed
@chelseaplay33802 жыл бұрын
@@Aboutkoi when I bought it body is white It has bony pattern likes Shusui and the head only has one light red spot. After 4 months, only redness has increased on the head. Seller told me the koi is shusui 😅

Number 1, but would prefer a wider white stripe and a little less orange above the lateral line. Stay safe and well 👍🏻

Agree! That would have made it better for sure. Thanks for your comment, stay safe!

Love this! Shusui are my favorite! I have an American bred one that had this weird beak like head, like seriously the weirdest head I've ever seen. She's a 23" Sansai now with a nice big normal head and beautiful zipper. She's not perfect but pretty good for $18
@Aboutkoi3 жыл бұрын
23" for Sansai is a serious size for a Shusui! Very well done, hope she will grow big. Nice catch there 👌
@@Aboutkoi I have pointed out the same thing to a another Dutch dealer before. Please pay a little more attention to the condition of your little TOSAI. It is alarming that such an emaciated condition is taken for granted by such an outspoken person as yourself. Even if you keep them in a small tank during the winter like he does, it is possible to turn them around and grow them to the size of a jumbo TOSAI like a professional breeder.
