We may come from different walks of life and be different colors and creeds but what unites us is truly something special, our hatred of hippies & this is our anthem. I salute you sir.

When I was a child I was on a train and apparently kept saying "dirty hippy", to a hippy, my dad smiled and never said anything. The hippy got up and left his seat. I still think hippies are dirty to this day.

As a huge history buff, the one thing I love about your songs is that they take historically accurate pieces of the later modern age (the late 20th century) and make satirical songs out of it. This song is a great satirization of a reality that happened in the 1970s. Sure, at that time, hippies have found support for their ideals of love and peace but were also criticized for their anti-work, pro-drug, permissive ethos and liberal attitudes towards society. One of the most notorious people that showed so much quarrel against the Hippie Movement are the Diggers. The Diggers are a radical left-wing group that rivaled with the hippies during the counterculture movement of the 1960s and 1970s. The Diggers declared the "death" of the hippie movement with a parade after the Summer of Love in 1967. The media coverage of the Summer of Love led to the Diggers' declaration. And I swear they have already made that song as a big fat F.U. to the hippie movement. May God Bless your songs, bro. Peace, Love and Unity from the history buffs. ❤❤❤❤
