I did it in high school ('90-'91) because my parents refused to believe that our replacement math teacher failed everyone on our report card because we went like 6 weeks with a substitute who didn't teach us anything, and the new teacher expected that we'd be caught up. I screamed my dad down face-to-face with an F bomb - "No, you shut the F up!" Only way to make them listen was to shock them into silence. They believed me after going in to talk with the teachers about it.
