Mark that stumbling green gas creature is called a Lament. Laments are among the most dangerous standard opponents faced in the game, and have the highest perception of any standard enemy, able to spot Sebastian directly behind them with a slight turn of the head. The moment a Lament spots Sebastian it will whirl around and emit a shrill, deafening screech, which will spawn anywhere between two to three Lost (The Lost being the "zombies") to aid it in combat, in addition to slowing Sebastian down, as he has to cover his ears. You have a good reason to not like that weird boney thing lol.

So I was going to bring this up on Today's stream but.... Man, your chat is faster than Sonic. *SPOILER FREE INFO* *If you want the "Humming/Lala Ghost Lady" to remain a total mystery to you when it comes to her mechanics, then don't continue. I do not talk about her story.* The "Humming/Lala Ghost Lady" is going to be with you a LONG time. I think until chapter 11 or 12 at least (I dont think you can end it sooner?). There are 3 main encounters with her (you've experienced 1 already) plus random encounters across Union where your best bet is to just run away. When she randomly appears, all other enemies disappear, so personally I use her random encounters as easier travel time. Although, apparently if you don't look at her when the encounter starts, she stays for 2-3 times as long? Haven't tested that out myself though. So yeah. She's gonna be your pal for a long time it seems and you can't kill her. Have fun. :D

Rewatching this, it's so funny that Mark keeps coming up with these really complex explanations for things. He takes absolutely NOTHING at face value, but I guess this it the type of plot that breeds that kind of paranoia. I think it's hilarious though that he keeps saying it's weird for people to talk to themselves when technically he has been talking to himself for YEARS! Also it's only odd for people to talk to themselves when there are other people present and in all of these situations the people are alone. It is actually considered very healthy to talk to oneself.

It seems Anima (i.e. the ghost lady)scares Mark more than anything else atm. Well mark do not try to fight Anima because she is unkillable and she one shots you if she gets you. If you want to do more Anima events look for the diner in chapter 6 or 7 and the marrows in chapter 11. Trust me it is worth it. Thumbs up so Mark can see it.

Mark, you need to look for the parking lot where you heard the car alarm. There, you can find a pistol with a laser sight attachment. And as Mint_the_Kitten said, the sniper repair kit is in the shed across from the union repair shop. You are playing on nightmare mode, so you need to look thoroughly throughout the area and investigate things as much as possible to be rewarded. This game rewards you quite a bit for exploring and thoroughly examining every single place where you may or may not think loot/hidden loot may be. Also be sure to follow the other signals besides the signals pertaining to the main story line. It may be tedious, but it's vastly rewarding.

Another LP of this game that I'm watching brought up a good point I think: When you connect someone to STEM that was already in a STEM system previously, they also bring the other STEM with them. That would explain why the stuff from Beacon keeps coming up. Also, when you kill enemies they stay dead, each enemy is a manifestation of a person/persons consciousness, so they stay dead once they get popped. Also Markimoo, take Kidman's advice, maybe you see a pattern because you want to: Lily died three years ago, Kidman is way too old.

I think of it like a RAID archive, you hook enough people up that had connections to or had memories of Beacon and it basically begins to reconstruct Beacon itself, the fragments growing stronger as more pieces of that experience are dredged to the surface and processed by the system. Everybody brings their own baggage, conditions, and trauma into the STEM and no matter how compatible the core is all of that piles up inside of it and begins to seethe together into a huge roiling spitoon of horror rife with the inner turmoil and chaos of their subconscious minds clashing together. Yes, I said spitoon, because, well let's face it this is Mark we're talking about, and where else would he be but inside the giant brain spitoon.

I have a somewhat unfinished theory for you Mark. If it was previously mentioned that you cannot die while in the Union, or death works differently there, then it would explain very loosely why the zombie like creatures wouldn’t stay dead, but instead respawn like you saw them do near the end of the video. And if this is true, then the man with the camera is definitely affecting the Mobius soldiers ability to respawn by somehow putting them in a time loop, which is why the Mobius members in the real world cannot get ahold of them. If rescued from the time loop, if my theory is remotely correct, then perhaps they could respawn.

That's what I was thinking too. If the STEM contraption takes the memories and thoughts of each person using it, it would seem obvious that it would take such a memorable thing from Sebastian's. If Mobius used any semblance of logic and reason, they would do heavy background checks and psychological evaluations when considering the people they send in, avoiding the people with severe trauma. In one continuous experience, Sebastian experienced more brutality and horrific gore than anyone in existence, and just 3 years later they think he's mentally stable enough to be sent in to a place where a very similar thing is happening. That would be at the very least intensely PTSD-triggering.

@@anxiousearth680 they say that yes BUT they fail to understand stem from what I've seen. They think they can control every aspect just like they think they can control humans absolutely. It's there biggest weakness. From the first stem, Kidman's town was there, so clearly it wasn't just ruvik who could add things to stem. A psycho can knowingly control the world inside stem and bend it to there whims BUT clearly everyone unknowingly adds things from there past into stem. Otherwise, things that are in stem like sebs and Kidman's memories would not be there in any way shape or form.

Gladius Erlade I don't know what the other guy is talking about. The official game guide says no bosses can be sneak killed(miniboss Sadist is the only exception). Also the guardian(chainsaw lady) and spawn (demon doggy) are the two enemies that will see you coming. Guardian isn't really a miniboss as she'll spawn multiple times and there is no point where it is mandatory to kill her.

Why has no one told him to stop wasting bullets and use the axe? He's passed up 4 axes this episode cause he's still holding one. That's 4 enemies, 3 bullets per enemy. Could've saved himself 12 bullets so far....some bolts.....and shotgun ammo lol
