The cars were actually driven by other players in a public server, and I had no direct contact with them. DR2 is being downloaded slowly but surely Project! bought the year edition, so got sum nice extra cars/tracks ^-^ and Idk if I saw right, but I think one of them is the car you used on the spanish map, so I can keep true to what you and Nick used, and see if I can beat his time, even on a controller!

The problem is that that's a rallycross car and you need a mod that's called ACAT that allows you to use rallycross cars on any stage. The bigger problem is that I don't think you can use that mod on Xbox but you can take a look here www.racedepartment.com/downloads/dirt-rally-2-0-acat-mod-singleplayer-pvp-multiplayer.37959/ and see if maybe it does 🙂

I don't know how you are able to get your dashboard gauges to line up so nicely through your wheel. I have the same CSL + DD and the same size rim and it blocks almost everything. I feel like to achieve the visibility you have your wheel must be REALLY high up to line up with your eyes?

Thanks for noticing the setup! It indeed took me over half a year to fine-tune everything to look this way. The wheel isn't positioned exceptionally high, but the height of my TVs plays a crucial role. Additionally, the angle of the steering wheel also has a significant impact on visibility. It's all about finding the perfect balance!

@@ProjectSimRacing Thanks for the reply. I kept my tilt angle at around 15 degrees using a level app on my phone. This does seem to be the most limiting factor here yes. I heard the tilt angle of GT cars are around 15 so I didn't want to go higher. But if I do go higher I do get much better dashboard visibility. What is yours at may I ask?

hey Project, I got my dr2 downloaded last night and loaded it up, did my settings, mapped my gearing buttons and what not, bought sum random cars with my credits, downloaded my map packs from the year edition, went into freeroam and I was able to drive, I went to time trial, went to the spain map, it lines me up, but the race isnt starting, same on the 1st career for wales, yet it allows me to do rally cross, rally cross and free roam have been the only 2 places where it allows me to drive, thoughts/help ?

Sorry to hear you're facing this issue with DR2. 🙄 It might be a corrupted game file. Consider deleting and reinstalling the game. Ensure you've updated the game to its latest version. If the above don't work, a hard reset might help. Hold down the power button on your Xbox for about 10 seconds until it powers off. Disconnect the power cable for a few minutes, then reconnect and turn on the Xbox. I haven't used an Xbox in a while, so these are the general solutions I'd recommend. Really hope one of these works for you🙂

Getting AI traffic to behave is definitely an art form. There are numerous KZbin tutorials that explain how to fine-tune it. However, the simplest solution is often just to join a server where someone else has already done the hard work 😝

Yes I use a GoPro Hero 11. I use different settings for different videos. But I usually use 5,3K at 60 fps with an ISO of 120🙂

Simply the best wheel base you can buy for that price! The build quality is stellar and even after prolonged use, it feels as solid as day one. One thing I really appreciate is its broad compatibility; it works seamlessly with a variety of games and setups. It might be bigger than some other brands, but it never overheats like other bases in this class. If you have the money, go for it! You won't be disappointed! 🙂

Well it's a combination of a lot of things, but my triple 55" TVs do help🙂

It's a combination of perfect fov, camera settings, TVs settings and editing. Plus I use Pure and SOL for that little extra😁
