Hi It's me again! I asked you about the 320mm vs 350mm last week. I just reviewed the spec again. The one you are using in the video is actually 1000g(hub v2 + quick release) + 902g(the rim) so it has a total weight of 1902. On the other hand, the RS has a total weight of 1653g(including quick release). So RS is actually lighter and will provide a better ffb.

I'm really thinking about getting a racing sim setup but idk if I'm going to go full VR or just stick to playing on monitors... just gotta find the gear that I like that is actually good. last time I bought a steering wheel it barely even registered I was turning the wheel and it was an awful experience

You're right, my opponent did step it up in the second race!😁 Regarding your sim setup dilemma, both VR and monitor setups have their pros and cons. Just know that VR can cause motion sickness for some, including me. I'd suggest trying it out before committing. Monitors are generally easier on the stomach and still offer a great experience. As for gear, I can personally vouch for Fanatec products. They offer excellent feedback and are highly customizable. You can find links to the products I use in the video description. @@ProjectSimRacing VR motion sickness is purely created by the illusion of movement that your mind is expecting due to the level of immersion. Your brain is tricked to think it is in a different 3D space, and movement does not match the liquid in your ears responsible for your equilibrium, causing motion sickness. However, over time, you can learn to trust that what you are seeing is not real, and all motion sickness goes away. This was my experience with VR, after 2 weeks of daily use, I got used to it and now I can't get motion sick because my mind is no longer fooled into thinking that what I am seeing is real even subconsciously. Do not give up on VR just because of initial motion sickness, work through it until you reach the other side, then it becomes way more fun than traditional 2D screens.

Admittedly, even on a 60fps screen, I sometimes experience mild motion sickness. While I understand the immense immersion VR offers, my primary concern remains on the content creation side. Most VR videos I've come across on KZbin seem choppy and don't provide the seamless experience I aim for in my content. So I'll keep my triples for now 😁 Thanks again for the comment🙂✌️
