This worked on my 2021 red sport. I turned off anc too because i had a drone while idle since i tapped the rear deck speakers for my car audio signal for my sub amp. Thank you dude!😎👍

My first rs was straight piped all the way down, ANC/ASC on/off made no difference 😂 Now on my second rs stock exhaust turned both off and I’m enjoying the unfiltered feedback

It works for the 2020+ Silver Sport and Red Sport as the bose audio system is standard equipment on these models... Just did it for my 2020 Silver Sport

So I had recently installed a sound system and when it’s off it’s pumping out bass which is pretty annoying. The guy that installed the system said fake exhaust is the issue. I’m wondering if dealerships have software to turn it off since the option is not available in the head unit

No I think they installed it wrong. They tapped the wrong signal for bass. I would join the Q50 groups on Facebook and ask there.

Same thing happened to my q60 and q50. All you gotta do is turn off the fake exhaust as shown on the video. Problem solved.

This method only works for 2020+ with Bose Audio from what I can tell as they have a different In touch System with a different hidden menu

So if you don’t have Bose does that mean you don’t have the fake exhaust sound? Or does it mean that all Q50/Q60 have fake exhaust and you can only turn it off on sport/red sport models? My edition 30 didn’t have the option for the asc. 👎🏽 Honestly didn’t even notice if my car actually pumped fake noise. I have a takeda cbe so can’t even tell. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Thx for the good info tho. 👊🏽

I couldn't find it on the Luxe on the showroom but I think that it's just more pronounced on the Bose model vehicles. I noticed a difference in my coupe when I turned it off. Not a huge difference but a difference.
