My personal list of best smashers in Mens Double, players who have played international tournaments after 2010 only: Top (These guys are the true One-smash killer, even from the back line against the best defenders. Unusual amount of smashes that are outright winners. Have the top power, placement, steepness, consistency): Mads Kolding, Fu Haifeng, Tan Boon Heong. Mads Kolding and Fu Haifeng were casually producing 400+ kph smashes even after they are 30. Follow up: Mohamed Ahsan, Goh V Shem, Ko Sung Hyun, Chai Biao, Ivanov, maybe a few more I cannot remember. Very close to the Top smashers, but don't seen to produce as many one-smash kill. Next rank are most of the other back court players who have been in top 10: Yoo Yeon Seong (tempted to put him in Follow up rank), Gideon, Endo, Li Junhui, Ou Xuanyi, many more. Need to emphasise that even for a back court player, smashing ability is only one part of being a back court player.
