If it's MTA my Dad probably drove it he used the 80-90s Flexible, RTS a few times neoplan my personal favorite was RTS as far as looks my dad had line 484 now 194 from like 1974-1995 he retired around 95

yes this first batch came with an entirely different braking system that makes an annoying crunching sound.

oh. now i see what you're asking about.. i believe that's part of the farebox.. it's the Gen-Fare system, i think.. i can't remember! but i know it's part of the farebox. there is a switch for making the bus kneel up and down..

you know i find setting the seat kinda low and tilted back all the way with back rest tilted forward, and the steering wheel tilted all the way down is a pretty good way to drive, try it out

Maybe you could tell me or know what the issue could be when you step off the gas pedal and/or step on the brake and while the bus is decelerating you don't hear the engine of the bus winding down with the deceleration like you normally would/should hear?? It sounded like the engine wasnt even running when the drivers would step off the gas pedal or step on the brake. A few of the old Gillig Phantom buses from 2005 that the transit system I use had this issue..... The powertrain they have are Cummins ISM with Allison B400R
