Scariest thing is sharks aren’t apex predators… an apex predator is the top of the food chain. And the thing that eats sharks… just so happens to be friendly towards humans: dolphins - or rather Orcas / Killer Whales. Plus that snake was most likely the car owners pet! Which is one of the reasons why he had no fear when pulling it out. But it was someone’s pet anyway. Wild pythons don’t generally live to get that big if they are anything other than wild type colouring. A 10 ft bright yellow snake doesn’t exactly blend in in any landscape, either a predator would have eaten it while it was young and much smaller or a human would have seen it sooner and either killed it or take it in as a pet.
