@@btzke i think at one point i swear he said something about him shaving his head being like hitting the refresh button or something, like clearing his thoughts?? so maybe his long hair = his thoughts being unclear? maybe because he's back in dema and controlled by the bishops so he can't focus on his own thoughts but rather what the bishops are telling him. whereas in trench, he was finally able to tune in to his own thoughts because he realised that dema was not a good place and he started to look beyond dema and find trench

In the begins of the video you can see through Tyler's body language that he doesn't seem exactly please about having to sing , like it's something he's being forced into, but he eventually starts and it's like if he has to do it he might as well just take the chance to send an important message to the listener, and the father the gets into the song the more it seems like he's trying to brake out (like when he's pulling at his skimask trying to sing as loud as he can)

DEAR CLIQUE: I believe the boys are showing us the music industry within this video and how corrupt and fake everything is, "Shed your modesty" for the sake of likeability. "Leave your skin on the floor" which translates to, lose who you are to become a scaled and icy "dragon" (soulless likable artist). If you notice at the beginning of the video :04 you hear Clancy yell "Run Away", but Tyler mishears it as "Shy Away" and continues on with the cliche TV Pop performance; ie neon lights, minimalistic stage, predictable close-up camera angles. Blurryface/Bishops/Music Industry is telling Tyler to not run away from them (Jumpsuit video) for they know what's best for his happiness and well-being. Tyler's soul, Clancy (space buns), is trying to help guide Tyler through the upside-down world of the industry where values and morals are foreign subjects. The goofy hairstyle of Clancy (space buns) is showing how you will be perceived as a fool within the industry if you have a Faith or morals of any kind; also we know now that Rosie is forever a part of Tyler's heart and soul so Clancy will display her infamous space buns, this is just a speculation-haha The infrastructure of blocks represents how glamourous and powerful the industry comes off as being with dragons (soulless artists) flying above, but they can be destroyed by listening to your heart and soul and being your authentic self without shedding who you are as an individual. Ok so I had this theory, potentially on the wild side, but I had to get it out. Trash the dragon IS Clancy ...or rather was Clancy... basically in short I think Dema maybe did this to him. Like he became this way not from hoarding gold like a normal dragon, but from hoarding and holding on too closely to all dark thoughts, insecurities, self loathings ect. And now Dema is using him for their benefit saying that Clancy is dead. Like how a villain who used to be hero might often say that the old them is dead. But like isn't that everything going on here. Dema turning good things bad even to the extent of Tyler and Josh. It would also explain the Clancy street view in his scales, but now his scales also show his new purpose: to destroy. Dema even want you to call him trash to keep him this way, to further their control. Just like how they made us feel responsible for the page going down and letting Clancy "die". They're making it our fault. Please let me know what you think. I'm probably overthinking it or just way off, but better to share the thought than just ignore it.

Due to how it's believed that the album's basically propaganda from dema, the clones of Tyler and Josh in 1:51 of your video, wear the same types of cloths Tyler and Josh wear in "the hype", making me believe that the clones are made the face of a depersonalized but hyped up band, drawing people into dema. Also, with their ripped masks, it makes me believe that this video takes place after the main storyline of the album, as if they've been through something, and now they're playing alongside the band. We'll find out more as the album drops, but idk, what's your opinions?

Since they used neons and tvs in the past to represent something bad and appealing at the same time, this could mean that this is just fake propaganda set up by the bishops to attract people. If this is true the rest of this album will be another attempt to escape dema. On the other hand if this isn't propaganda it would just mean that Tyler is very happy right now and has managed to get away from dema for the moment.
