I have a suspicion that the Mormon Church had their hand in the making of this movie.

You have to feel sorry for Mark, Charly's first boyfriend. Charly is blatantly cheating on him with Sam for the first act, yet she's never called out on this by anyone. He seems like a perfectly nice guy to boot.

Why are all men type cast in all these movies? They are all ultra beta simp types. This has led to the increase in delusions of modern day females, they can all have their carousel stage 🎠 and then some blue pulled super white knight beta simp is going to come swooping in to save the day. If I would have found out that Charly had been doing that to me, I'd be like bitch yo ass belongs to the streets 🤣 💯.

Charly is the epitome of a Manic Pixie Dream Girl for Sam. She comes into his life as a free spirited artist to challenge his stuffy worldview, and encourages him to fall in love with both her and life.
@maybelleclark26232 жыл бұрын
It's just a Morman convversion movie. Take a Manic Pixie Dream Girl and turn her into a stuffy Morman so she can be with the stuffy guy. It's dumber than most MPDG movies.

As Christian B-level movies go, this one doesn't seem to suck as much as many others do. Still, the cookie cutter script is kind of unavoidable when your plot is always a thinly veiled manipulation.

So basically this is a story of where a girl cheats on her boyfriend in order to hunt down and secure a guy with firm views of monogamy and commitment, except they don't suit each other in any way, so he doesn't see her being the One. Ironically if she stopped sooner her dark deeds would have resulted in most of what she wanted with her handsome and loving boyfriend, apparently he was the type who wants it more if having to work for it and girlfriend being independant.

Not finished watching yet, but I'm sorry, if I close the eyes on Charly (verbally) cheating and blatantly sniffing around, her and Sam are still not a good couple despite both probably being lusty or delusional about future with each other later on. She will disrupt everything and get on his nerves continuously, possibly even cheat to get what she can't from him, he will constantly try to stifle and remake her, probably feeling trapped as well, because his principals wouldn't allow him to just end it once commited, except he wasn't sure when choosing.

I can't believe that everyone is getting excited about this story when we know that Mormons live in polygamy and some practice incest. This would be a wonderful story if Sam were an ordinary Christian.
@Zacharythorsen2 жыл бұрын
Jesus Christ died for all of our sins. He died death we all deserved. He was the perfect one who never sinned once, but he loved us so much he decided to die for us so our sins would be paid for and we can enter the Kingdom of Heaven before God the Father blamelessly. He is the living son of God who wants to know us and have a personal relationship with us. No matter what you have done no matter how far gone you think you are Jesus can and will save you. All you have to do is confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior. Believe that he died on the cross for your sins and had a bodily resurrection 3 days later. Repent and turn to Christ. You will have joy, happiness, love, and peace beyond understanding.
