I'll assume you don't understand because you're a woman. Let me break it down for you. The KOA usually produce one regular parody a month. They are now producing (it seems) weekly unplugged parodies also. Until there is a noticeable lack of regular parodies on a monthly basis, the unplugged ones should be considered an added extra, not a replacement.

Well, I'm not so sure you are correct. I might have thought the same thing before they started asking for money. The last high production value video they posted was on 9/1. Today is 10/14.That's around 6 weeks. I believe the previous rotation was about 4 weeks on average. Also, they put out the video explaining their situation after 9/1. They could have lost their funding after that date. So I think there is good evidence to think that the increase in unplugged videos is because they aren't spending time working on high production value videos due to a lack of funding. Time will tell.

Shawn Eshghi Barely Political was a pre-existing channel that hired mark to make the key of awesome a long time ago, and they made lots of other content for the channel as well. However, KZbin is hard to make money off of, which is why they slowly phased out a lot of their side content, like the puppet stuff and other sketches, until finally they parent company gave up, and removed the barely name. So the channel changed to being called the key of awesome and is run from the top by mark now, but that means they no longer have access to the same budget they used to. Which is why they're doing more videos that are cheaper that the studio quality film clips and have started a Patreon.

They're still doing the big production videos but the acoustic ones are easier to put out so they do these in between the other ones. The channel is called Key of Awesome now because they primarily do parodies and don't do political stuff anymore.

But how does Sia go from making mediocre songs like "Cheap Thrills" and "Elastic Heart" but also makes amazing songs like "Titanium," "Alive" or even "She Wolf (Falling To Pieces)."
