Real talk. This is the BEST-est travel vlog I've ever watched. Aside from showcasing how astounding Siargao is, I love how Erwan encourages the viewers to protect the island from unsustainable tourism, becoming a messy tourist destination, and to preserve its laid-back vibe. Because that’s the most important thing, and Siargao should be treated like that, as well as all the remaining untouched places. Been there three times and I always want to go back. Someday, I’m gonna build a home in that island and surf its waves for the rest of my life, and when that time comes I hope it remains pristine. Loving every second of this video. Kudos, team ;)

Yung mas magaling pa si Erwan sa graphic content, cinematography at narrating kesa sa Philippine television haha...galing mo super like!
@chincamposano62836 жыл бұрын
I do agree na it's magaling, but do not generalized all the travel documentaries on TV cos there are surely so many great ones out there, too. If your only source is ABS-CBN then most likely totoo yan. But there are shows like Trippies from CNN Philippines, The Crawl from Lifestyle Channel, even GMA News TV's Biyahe ni Drew, the latter though caters to the ordinary Filipinos (especially budget conscious ones) and I think Drew Arellano is one of the best out there since he's been doing it (before everybody) for a long time.

May team siya. Erwan is a company, Fat kid inside. A lot of people is moving to make this videos work. Mas maganda ng dito nalang siya sa youtube, may mas creative freedom sila kesa pag under na sa isang corporation, maraming kailangang i please na tao.

Overnight in Osaka was my favorite, how it was filmed, edited, the VO, the writing - your spiels, you singing, i love every bit of it! BUT THIS!!! OVERNIGHT IN SIARGAO IS ON A TOTALLY DIFFERENT LEVEL!!! I LOOOVE IT! Probably a bit biased coz its Philippines but really, amazing content, filming, editing (thumbs up to you and the whole sea biscuit team), gaaahd your writing skills blows me away. always. always. "Time is regular, quantifiable, linear, forward moving, universal and eternal. It is as familiar as the shadow, always there around you, never dictating your moves but acting as a constant companion should you need someone to lean on." "The feeling of beeing engulf in something bigger, more important than you is intoxicating. I know it can be overwhelming, so just look forward and rely on what youve learned, your failures, everything is falling into place, it all comes down to you and the waves." and of course you singing is always a plus! Excited for what 2017 holds for you! ps. peanut butter with jam or just peanut butter? 😂

Happiness in a video 👌🏻 Love how Overnight is getting so much better as a show. The elements are progressive every single time. I thought Overnight HK was too high of a bar to top but this one definitely breaks the ceiling of pure content bliss. Having Wil on this episode disrupted the almost serene tone of the video, like the ones you had on the past episodes around Asia but that bit of chaos and energy somehow added a different dimension to the character of this series. Massive credits to the whole Overnight team. Y'all stay grand!

Outstanding! I was just telling my wife that it's been awhile since I've seen a long-running video on Siargao Island. It's such an amazing place. Erwin, next time you visit Siargao please stop by our little resort in Brgy Alegria. We haven't opened up the entrance yet from the highway so nobody knows we're there. We'll be fully operational by next summer. I don't want to plug the resort here so I won't mentioned it... Send me a message if you want more information... Salamat Karajaw for the great video!

Watching Overnight Siargao made me feel very nostalgic. I am someone who also loves the sea and the province so much and this video brought back all the memories I had when I was little - playing with the waves all afternoon and just savoring the peace and quiet that the country side has to offer. I don't know how this team successfully surpasses every Overnight episode they make. Each new episode just keeps becoming better and better. Erwan's fervent and elaborate writing makes you feel as if you were really there with him. It lets you experience each and every sensation he had while being in the place. Nicky and Sarry's powerful shots give your eyes a sensational feast. It will leave you breathless and hungry for more. I will never run out of praises for the overnight series. This is something that I really look forward to and the main reason I visit youtube. This series inspired me to travel, to stop being stagnant and to experience the beautiful world that I am in. Another job well done guys!

It's really eye-opening how romanticized this island is on the video. I'm from there, and even though I don't live there I've always taken it for granted when I go back once a year to visit my family.
