This whole documentary is the perfect example of how to raise children and how not to raise children... You look at the frommfamily and you see all the good that comes from having a family unit siblings treating each other like siblings parents understanding that they are parents and they need their children to see that..... then you go to Tate martells family you're looking at a kid who has never been told no a day in his life never faced adversity a day in his life and that is why he is where he is now... and no way am I saying that the parents of all the children didn't love them all but it's just too different and polar opposite ways of raising your family

Man Trayvon tries so so hard to be a leader but he just doesn’t have the language skills. He makes around like an old man off the field case and point playing basketball with Jordy. The look on this poor kids face when the camera hits him you can tell he feels super awkward and outta place. Jake is the ultimate leader as far as commanding respect. Tate is just that spoiled kid that secretly everyone on his team hates but hangs with him cause his talent is off the charts. Put him in a situation that he’s just another guy on the team his attitude and personality will make him an outcast and a fringe member of a team. Looks like Tate and Trayvon’s college careers reflect this, Tate can’t stay on a team despite the fact he is probably the most talented and has the most potential as any player on his many teams yet doesn’t get a chance and isn’t really wanted by anyone, Trayvon couldn’t stick and is in Juco heading towards a careen being a an coach at some fringe high school. Trayvon will be successful he seems to have that drive, but just not out being the spotlight. A career in the background is where he will excel. Tate will luck into some career outside of sports strictly on his family wealth and connections from Daddy. Tate’s parents and sister pump his tires and never seem to give him constructive criticism. He’s the golden baby and his mom, dad and sister keep him in a bubble. Funny soon as he was away from them his entire future just disappeared, they are just as to blame. Jake had a great career in Georgia and will be an NFL starter if he can keep his nose down and work, learn and take advantage of any opportunities that present himself.

This series doesn't really capture the fun that comes with playing under the lights of Friday night in Every Town, USA... they capture the marine sargent coaching style (that's apparently mandatory -- you CANT win unless someone is constantly screaming at you) but somehow it doesn't convey the joy that's associated with being a teenager and representing your school on the football field.. its a communal experience shared by millions of American males and its great
