So in regard to the part where Bob couldn’t help but see Ashley Tisdale in one of the girls’ looks and also not quite be able to tell why it evoked that for them, I *may* have a nerdy answer thanks to the power of modern psychology! We aren’t entirely sure why we have this feature in our brain, but there is a portion of the brain known as the Fusiform Facial Area (FFA) that seems to respond specifically when someone sees a famous person’s face. Not only that, but this part of the brain is also believed to have specific “celebrity” neurons, such as a neuron specifically tuned to firing only when seeing Jennifer Anniston’s face, for example, or a “RuPaul neuron” or anyone famous and familiar to you. Bob may have initially saw the queen on the runway, and because of the perceived physical similarity in appearance, it fired the “Ashley Tisdale” neuron in Bob’s brain thus, they saw the similarity without necessarily knowing why it was so. Anyway not a damn fool probably cares about any of this but I thought it was interesting! Thank you for the episode ladies, very fun stuff.
