taehyung does this endearing thing in American or British interviews where he speaks Korean in a British or American accent to make it sound English 🤣🤣 that always makes the members crack up lol. he always drops phrases in English, as do the other members and whenever he speaks I just feel pride, especially because he still has his humour in a different language (very commendable!!) but sometimes on the red carpet the members blank out because of nerves which is completely understandable lol. there was a really cute instance when he didn't get to say what he practiced for the grammy red carpet so jin and hobi pretended to interview him 🥺

"protect him at all costs" is right!! i always remember jimin saying that taehyung just has this untainted purity about him, not in the sense of childishness but just inexplicabe purity that even though taehyung may not realise it, it allows the members to reflect and become a point of strength. he also said he was the most humane. they speak of each other so beautifully 🥺 hope he recovers soon (don't know if you heard but he tested positive for covid 😔)

they actually speak english more often than you think, and not even just recently but they've always made the effort, especially because for example taehyung said he wanted to lift some of the responsibility off of namjoon. let me take this moment to shout out the vlive after the recent AMAs where all the members were laughing about what happened during their speech and taehyung recited his practiced one in the vlive so he could say it properly and namjoon just went "i'm so grateful for you guys really". he said it so quietly to himself but the audio picked up they appreciate each other so much it's the cutest. also in their concerts they always make the effort to speak the language of the country although they still have translators present, they do a lot of the talking. some of taehyung's speeches at the PTD concerts were hilarious and iconic lol like he really apologised to army and bts before swearing hahahah i love him
