7:34 yangyang grew up in Germany, that's why he speaks German. He went to an international school and that's where he learned English. In Germany you have to choose a second language in school, he chose Spanish, that's why he speaks a bit of Spanish. His parents are Taiwanese so he learned Mandarin from them. He learned Korean in Korea of course and he is currently learning Thai from Ten and is teaching himself Indonesian (since German resembles Dutch and Dutch resembles Indonesian a lot, Indonesian isn't that difficult for him to learn).

That’s incredible!!

is there a reason why dutch resembles indonesia or no? very curious btw!
@Miraiwhitelock3 жыл бұрын
@@tammybui9278 The Netherlands colonized Indonesia in the 1600s. Therefore, Bahasa Indonesian has a lot of Dutch loanwords and the phonetics is similar.

Too late to reply. But tbh taiwanese use hokkian (another dialect in chinese which is quite different structure with Mandarin). He learn Mandarin fluently when he prepared debut in WayV. At this first he learned to speak only, by the time he can write it now. The reason why he can't talk about it cuz Chinese and Taiwanese have political issues.

Bruh Speaking many languages can be frustrating because sometimes I dt remember some basic words.Like I'm French and when I speak with my fam n friends I often forget how to say some words.I just remember them in English or German.I gives up n get my phone translator for help.The weirdest part its when I'm stressed and I try to calm and talk to myself its always in english.When I'm in shock, mad or in some kind of hard-core situations I scream and curse in english.😣😣
@talarv90263 жыл бұрын
Omg yeah this happens to me too but instead of french it’s turkish and armenian for me. I am armenian/turkish but like when I’m speaking with my family I keep forgetting words even the basic ones sometimes. And somehow I feel like my english is better then my native languages cuz just like you I tend to curse in english and think and talk to myself in english. Weird :D

Multilingual 😋 I speak English, Dutch, Spanish and Papiamento (Aruba’s main language). The easiest one to speak for me would be my mother tongue Papiamento. Papiamento is a bit tough though in itself, since it’s a pidgin language meaning it’s mixed with many other languages, such as old portuguese, african and later on evolved by dutch and venezuelan spanish. In our school system we learn everything in dutch and since Aruba is in the dutch carribean, we are mainly a tourist island and we have to know and learn English to talk and assist tourists. Spanish is due to the fact we are right above Latino America specifically Venezuela, but it’s a subject at school amongst french and german as well. All these languages you learn at school making most of the population obligated to be multicultural and multilingual. The foreigners who come to live here also makes it easier for them to fit in, since we don’t have a one dimensional view on communication. 😋

I'm from Northeast India from the state of Assam so my first language is Assamese. Then I speak Hindi, the National Language of India and then did my schooling in English. Also, I speak Bengali and can understand Korean. So in conclusion, trilingual in the sense that I can speak, read and write three languages; can only converse and understand Bengali and Korean respectively.

I really live for it. It's so exciting and interestin to learn the culture of the country

That's not calculating if you born from 2 different family, then you have 2 local languages. Crazy? Yeah. But nowadays, the people that learn and speak local languages are rare. Some people just understand and speak Indonesian and English. I hope Indonesia local languages ain't dying. Let's preserve our local language!

É difícil de explicar mas é como se na minha mente não tivesse vários idiomas e sim 1 só formado por vários q se ligam.
