The one thing that really stands out with your channel is the respectful attitude presented in each country. Some other vloggers like to sensationalise their story by degrading the country "as guests." It's a pleasure to follow your journey, guys.

Thank you! We try to go to each new country and respect their culture and people as we are the visitors. We also try not to sugarcoat things to mislead those that may want to visit, but also not be negative. Thanks for watching. Cheers!!

This is so useful to me you have no idea. The last time we were in sicily we stayed in Palermo and it was awesome but so hectic. I think 55 year old me will enjoy cefalu for our 2024 trip. And thanks for showing the train.

Nothing beats a beer on a hot day! But, I'd be happy with a nice glass of wine with an authentic Italian meal, too. I just LOVE all those outdoor cafes in Cefalu. I don't recall ever visiting here, but I know I would like it with all the handcraft shops, being a handcraft artisan myself! It really looks like a quaint little place. Cheers to another fabulous video!

Hey. Another informative video. I am more than a little surprised that you left Palermo so late for this day trip. You are both usually up and at it. Looks great. I would likely pack that bathing suit and towel on a 95 degree day. Amazing the small quaint places you get to see when off the beaten path. In September such a crowded train. Wow. Safe travels and cheers.

We definitely should have left a few hours earlier than we did. We honestly should have stayed the night so we could have jumped in the water and had a place to clean up for an evening dinner. It is a great little place that we would recommend staying at. Thanks, Robert! 🍻

Hey guys! Thanks for the tips:) We are in Palermo for the next few days and then head to Cefalu for the Month of November! FYI an AirBnb (booked months ago)with an amazing private rooftop and view was $1500 Cdn. We will be heading back to Palermo for a day trip and a cooking class. We're travelling through Italy for early December then to our housesit in London for Christmas:) Looking forward to watching more!

Question: do you fly your own drone? If so, do you have a Part 107 FAA Drone License & how do you get permission or approval, if at all?
@BrianandCarrie
@BrianandCarrie Жыл бұрын
Great question! We don't use a drone. We didn't want to hassle with all the legalities of using one let alone packing one all over the world with only carry-on luggage. We use Canva, it is a paid website that we use for any drone shots. We did a video last year on how we shoot our videos and what gear we use. Thank you for asking!! Cheers!!🍻
@matthewgarrett1964

@@BrianandCarrie interesting. I have a DJI Mini 4. The drone & all its "gear" weigh about 2 1/2 lbs. & all of it fits in a case 1/2 the size of a football. I also have an FAA Part 107 License, so that makes it easier for me . I plan on using it myself but completely understand the desire not to have to deal with it.
