So glad Porter is better! I have a chi (Zeus) who looks so much like Porter and he got Pancreatitis. I almost lost him, he was in the hospital on IV for 2 days. It was awful 😢. He is good now but I can’t do the treats anymore so as long as you can make them happy with treats, just go for it!!!

Thanks! He was even help take care of Brinley while she was sick the other day :) I have a cute short video of him licking her ear and laying with her. Some people see explaining yourself as a weakness. I don't see it that way. I don't mind explaining, what I do mind is having to repeat myself in that explanation though ;) Once I say something like this in a video, you can bet ill never repeat myself in a comments again. I think explaining yourself is important because often with humans there are a lot of miscommunications, and some people just need clarification. There were some well meaning comments that mentioned food, so I feel like it's fair to respond.

Oh it never fails :) I'll see some know it all comment on every video with bad info. You can correct them all you want but their brain is set where it is ;). On this one, a few weren't rude but also just didn't understand. That message was more for them. I've noticed since I started youtube there are quite a few people who think everything they see in videos is exactly real life. The first big trend I saw was Polly Police who thought I never paid attention to polly because more videos were about Porter. Like, do you think I don't pay attention to Porter because Charlie cat videos are about Charlie cat? Lol.

Really glad Porter's doing so well. My guy is like 14 year old version of Porter and he goes through the barfies now and then too. At the age he now is and as skinny as he is, he gets a little bit of everything he wants to eat. He loves cheese and steak and so many things. Continuing to eat at all helps him.

My chi is 11 now. We offer food twice a day and sometimes she won't eat, but her weight is fine. If my mom feeds her, she eats a bunch because my mom hand feeds her and tells her how good she is with every bite. My chi has gained weight since Grammy (my mom) moved close to us.

Hahaha. Tell him that's how I used to be too :) That's actually the story of why I call them chihuahua dogs. When we first got them I would joke that they weren't worth of being called dogs and that they need to earn it (I was channeling the drill sergeant in full metal jacket). Then it just became a cute affectionate terms :)

He’s a living, breathing being, and all humans and animals get sick from time to time. Thank goodness it was nothing major and he’s feeling well again.
