We are ruled by corporate state mafias. There is little profit in healthy, empowered people. It's a good business model to keep people sick and stupid. So you are right to encourage us to be more self reliant and self directed, this is the way to health.

My mother in law stayed with us for three months. We fed her home groan food cooked at home which she seemed to complain about a lot. When she got home she went to her doctor to get check up and have blood test. She said her doctor told her the test was boring. She asked what do you mean. He said everything was so good that if she were to stay with us she could come off all medications. A testament to good food groan in good ground eaten daily.

My health has improved so much since I've started eating almost entirely my own homegrown food. This is important!

Well said! Unfortunately it seems that by the time the masses wake up and see the need for change, it will be too late.

Can't wait for the masses to wake up: we have to do what we know it's right for us and our families.

You're absolutely right, Jon. We have utterly lost perspective , most of our lives have spiralled out of control, "life" is beyond recognition. Food has become a monopoly...most every thing is being monopolised? Even water in some parts of this world. Not enough of us have questioned the what-ifs of collapse of food and water monopoly would result in. Would it make more sense to localise-regionalise growth of food so that "apocalyptic" types of disasters would affect only a proportion of us, not ALL of us.

It's a matter of soil drainage: different kind of soil retain water in different ways. Work on the quality of your soil by integrating compost to improve its drainage capacity. In the meantime reduce the amount of watering and only water when the soil it's getting dry at the roots level, not on the surface.

If you live close to the sea, you can collect sea water and obtain salt by evaporation, but it's not a quick process.

@@azzyb7738 your hunger que's change, and your bowel movements change. Sometimes I have one or two bowel movements a week, no pain, cramps ect. Meat is easily digested, hence there is not much left to be excreted. I just eat like most people have been eating since the beginning of time, excluding the last 200 years.

It is important to create an alternative food system, but implementing it on a bigger scale would have to be organized and could be a challenge. Sure, you can grow your own food, for your own, without any community. Or you do it in a small local community. But I doubt you can build a community that's strong enough and can have any significant impact on society or humanity as a whole. You just won't reach many people. I can think of only a few structures that would be able to create a larger impact: religious movements or a movement driven by a similar ideology. They operate on larger scales and organize large numbers of people. Another option would be to use the existing structures that already regulate the food system: the state. The state already regulates everything. So it's either using the state for the benefit of the people, or let corporations exploit the system. Either way, it's almost impossible to live in society and outside the influence of the state. And because that's so difficult, it would be necessary to create or use the existing organizational structures of the state. It makes sense to rebuild existing structures and establish an official system run by the state that serves the needs of the people instead of the profit of corporations owned by a few individuals.

That would be Communism, your answer to the problem is more communism to fix the problem caused by communism. Last century it killed a hundred million people. It has been tried over and over and always turns into death and destruction. Read The Black Book Of Communism please. Thank you.

The moment you put food production under a centralized authority of any kind, you loose your independence again and you are back to square one. It must stay individual or small comunity based and grow from the grass root by example and imitation as the peiple wake up from the hypnosis modern society has spelled them under.

Heya Jon. We love your channel. love your simplist nature and perspective and the care for the overall flock and your thoughts and deliberations about life. I too try to keep things simple. maybe one day we will meet when i get to Thailand again. meantime i just wanted to share some knowledge as an Ayurvedic Holistic Therapist who also uses Electromagnetic Alternative Therapies such as Royal Rife but also the very inexpensive Bob Beck Protocol. Bob Beck was a Physicist from USA who invented the electronic camera flash. there is a three hour documentary on KZbin called Bob Beck at the global science conference 1998 and there are free plans how to build this kit online for free. blessings love and light. happy health everyone.
