What a lovely smile Sid has in the last picture! It's captivating. I've heard a few interviews of the Sex Pistols and I see a similar pattern between Johnny and Sid: it seems that Johnny has the role of the intelligent member of the band and has to "make sure" that Sid keeps his role as the unintelligent one. In 3:05 when they're talking about why they aren't playing in larger cities in the US Sid starts to give his opinion and Johnny clearly interrupts him. A little later Sid tries to speak again and Johnny doesn't let him. Sid was an intelligent but very troubled person; notice his sharp, but bitter witty remarks. RIP Sid.

I know he was just a little baby boy Sid. He wanted to die for years and it was his main goal and ambition to die. He did not like life. He had a very hard life. I feel so bad for him. Somebody should have intervened. Todd and Patti Smith tried to help him when he assaulted Todd at Hurrah's by having him sent to Riker's Island. His sentence was 2 months in Riker's Island for the assault. I think it would have been better to keep him in there until after he was fully acquitted. He could have gotten more help.

@@breannebellezza9755Rikers, NY was a hard prison, I don't think he got much help there. Most likely he never wanted to go back and be with Nancy. There was nowhere to go after her death, yeah jail. And he probably didn't even kill her. There was money gone, etc.

My family grew up in London, specifically Hackney in the 70's and my mum about 13/14 at the time kept on seeing this ''weird'' kid with dark spikey hair every now and then (this was before he was a sex pistol around 75) and caught the name of his name by someone in the area, john beverley. Then just so happens a few of my mum and her mates decided to nick his football for a laugh, he threw a bit of paddy and just told her to fuck off! from then they sort of greeted each other.

You can say what you want about the sexpistols . But they where one of the great perfoming punk bands . they created the image and way of punk life that so many 16 year olds pick up on still today. I keep hearing why didnt they talk about pollotics and such . they where 17 18 years old when they wrote the album . what it realy comes down to is the sexpistols where and still are an entertaining band to listen to or watch videos .. sid and johnny did get their leather jackets after the interview

he was making that (new songs) up on the spot. I believe it was in that Rotten book (haven't read it since 1994, or maybe it was "On the road with the sex pistols") that he was talking nonsense. They hadn't written any songs while on tour.

There were smudged fingerprints on the knife, but not wiped off. Sid and her passed out on heroin, in the morning Sid woke up and found her with one stab in the chest, she bled to death, but there had been two dealers in their room in between the heroin and morning.

Sid and I lived together after Nancy died, and HE HAD NO RINGS. I was with him when he died, and there were NO RINGS, or any kind of jewelry. His heroin addicted mother also said there was a death note, like a year later, and that was also not true. His property was in my apartment, and the cops and I all saw it before anyone else (including the Junkie Anne) did. She had no idea how to tell the truth. She came to be with him to try to make money. He was about the truth.Hope she's rotting.

The look on his face when being taken in for questioning about his ladies death is very reconiseable to someone who has lost someone they truely love! You feel numb & your here but really not feels like walking in a dream not real but you know it is! Very sad end for these 2 as no-one knows what truely happened to either one of them! May they rest in peace! Obviously they both never had it in life! 😢😢😢😢😢😢
