@@vijayakrishnannair5769i lost my uncle in 2019 due to non alcoholic liver cirrhosis..that too in amrita..at first his 25 year old daughter donated liver but due to some fault in care he got bacterial infection..later he had another liver transplant from a professor who died in a car accident in kottayam..both transplants couldnt save him..he spent 2 months in amrita..the total bill was 65 lakhs..he was a healthy 6ft tall 58 year old man who was running a successful catering service in south kerala..even the doctor who treated him told us that they could have saved him if he had alcoholic cirrhosis..he had back pain for a few years and was undergoing ayurvedic treatmnt for it..later when cirrhosis was diagonised by another doctor he had already reached third stage..his wife and two daughthers are financially very strong but nothing can replace his absence..he was a great husband and a great father..my aunty who was hindu married him eventhough he was christian with both the families’ support but god had other plans..
