Quick spray of silicone on the rubber grommets helps removal n fitting plus it helps the rubber to last longer.

I just wanted to see the condition of the bike underneath the fairing, although i do plan to do a coolant change while its off

Plan to take all my fairing off too, handy vid, cheers. Only had my bike about two months, so will see how unclean it is under the panels over the next few weeks.

So hard to just take apart, and doing spark plugs, valves makes you want to throw tools across the room! 😡😭 This thing is a nightmare to take apart, work on compared to other bikes, rumor has it... Gyno docs are trained on the Zx-14/R's!! 😂🤣

That top bolt on side fairing on my bike just spins, does not come out. The clip on the inside spins with the bolt.

Try and reach the clip somehow to hold it so it doesn’t spin…?

Biggest mistakes kawasaki ever made.. #1 not using a regular wrap around perimeter frame and making the 14/R as super easy to work on as a Zx-11. / #2 not building the later Zx14R's with a H2R type supercharger system.. then drop about 50 to 75lbs off the bike.. Then the Zx14R would truely rule the world for decades to come! Then No stock production bike could get anywhere near it! ..and it would be even better in corners and comfy enough for touring. oh and add a taller but adjustable height windscreen.
