So quick tip. Remove the old fluid from the m/cyl first. Fill with new fluid, then bleed as normal. Once bled and new fluid topped up into m/cyl. Clean off and press the rubber diaghram back into resting position. Don't leave it extended. It extends as vacuum requires. The other method is to reverse bleed it. That way the air travels up instead of forcing down. Use a 200ml syringe filled with new fluid attached via tubing to slave cyl bleed nipple. Empty mcyl reservoir first. Cover with a cloth. Then undo slave cyl bleed nipple and push new fluid in gently from below. Don't push ar in from syringe..just fluid. After bleeding off the mcyl bleed nipple. Check levels and fasten down. Always leave the clutch or brake levers pressed in lightly n secured with a zip tie or tape..overnight to allow any air bubbles remaining to travel to highest point into reservoirs. Next day remove tape or ties n test operation before starting engine. Same method can be used on brake systems. Brake with abs needs purging after new fluids. Either cycle the abs with jumper leads or rest rig. Or just activate abs by riding down a quiet road and applying brakes enough to activate pulse from modulator on abs. Do that a couple of times. Then flush off brakes again with new fluid and bleed. That's the way to properly flush out the abs box.

Bloody hell, that def needed doing then. Didn't look a bad job at all. Gives me a chance to check out my slave cylinder, apparently an issue on these bikes.

Hello, good afternoon, I wanted to know if the clutch lever fluid is the same as the one you use for the brake lever or are they different? Thank you very much ✌️
