I love seeing your thought process behind how you decide to break up your categories and what you end up spending things on, is so much fun to see. It really helps me, because I'm also currently going thought the process of thinking about if i should change my budget categories. If something more complex would serve me better, of if I should keep it simple.

I loved Santorini, it was very crowded though. We did a smaller cruise that could get to smaller islands the bigger cruise ships can't get to and that was amazing. When you start to plan it reach out and we can chat about the places I went to. Such a beautiful place! Great savings today!! ❤

I am super visual too! Clutter makes it hard for me to get things done because it’s so distracting. That’s nice that you are able to split your two worlds up. Great video! ❤️

That HOA tracker is so pretty! I have a hard time with clutter also! I wish I would have originally invested in sit to stand desks when I furnished my home office. I do have a sit to stand desk riser that sits on top of my current desk which I do like. Such a great video Kay!

Awesome video friend ❤️ I love the detail of everything you share with us! So informative and fun! The babies are so adorable. Love the balloon! My Lainey is a black and tan German Shepherd. She has the sweetest little spirit. She thinks she's tiny but she's getting huge now. The lap sitting is definitely more at 60 lbs lol

I can’t function with clutter! And as much as I try to be minimalistic I have an obsession with planner things and pens 😢 Love the laptop savings challenge you’re so close to the 2k❤

Great video friend. I love how well you explain. I get this a lot from friends and family…why do you play games and such, why not just put the money back. My answer is I can’t…I don’t have the discipline to just put money back without making it fun 😊

You're doing fantastic. I have 2 categories for Home (maintenance and household) but see I need a long-term. I'm going to need a water heater soon so I've been hitting that hard so it doesn't come out of Savings. Great video.

Hi Kay. I have two home envelopes. One is House Maintenance (because I am always at Home Depot), and a long term House Fund for things like a new roof, a new water heater and a new AC/Heater, new carpet, etc., because let's face it, those things aren't a surprise and shouldn't be an emergency and they are usually really expensive. BUT I also save for things like furniture and electronics and kitchen goods but I save for those items individually as I identify them. A new couch is not purchased that often, and a computer is not that often. So, I am using my new Mini, Micro, Tiny savings to fund these other individual items. Just some thoughts to give you ideas to think about if any work for you.
@AprilsFreshStart9 күн бұрын
I had to break down my home category into smaller subcategories as well because if I saw 5000 in home, I would want to buy a new couch and that money needed to be earmarked for a much bigger purpose of a roof or something.

Quick question. I'm sure I will edit this comment after I watch. You mentioned that you withdraw money to pay your CC bill at the end of the month as you unstuff. Why not pay direct from your account? Edit: Why are you prioritizing saving for a vacation over the Macbook? I would save for that more, especially if you intend to make KZbin a major revenue stream. But thats just me.
