I realize that Jokic has another powerful weapon: EQ (emotional quotation) because he does understand how his teammates are feeling when they are playing the game. He is blessed with humility, unselfishness, simplicity and indifference of statistics. That is why his former and current teammates love and respect him so much. I really appreciate the way the Nuggets play the game. Keeping injured players, bringing them back to health, sharing the ball to teammates, which led to everybody having the opportunity to contribute to the win. Loved how they stayed focused thru all the MVP BS. All the "professional" yackers getting it wrong, Joker and the entire team made their opponents pay.

Other teams I have rooted for were down by 15 going into the 4th quarter, I had a little hope they could win. With Jokic on the court I feel they are going to win. When he goes into high gear there is no stopping him.

There has NEVER been a player like Jokic in NBA history. The closest thing is probably Larry Bird but he takes it up a notch from there. This guy is unstoppable and never jumps to good luck injuring him. Jokic is the first player since Lebron that think can be the best player in NBA history. He is contributing to 60-70 points MINIMUM per game. Just imagine if he gets another star around him. He really has ONE other top level player on his team and he won the championship. Nuggets need to pick up another great player to contribute and they can be a dynasty for a decade.

Fun fact: Jokić was already a legend before going to the NBA. While Jokić was still playing in Serbia, after one game, he got inflammation in the wrist joint of his right hand. They didn't immediately know the cause. They soon realized that it was after one game where he spent an hour signing autographs.

Perk sucks and all but honestly think Jokic intentionally tanked his chances for a third consecutive MVP. He basically took off the least 15 games to rest but also to drop out of MVP consideration. The dialogue had become so toxic and was only going to get worse if he won a third and potentially become a distraction from winning the championship.
