Yeah when pressing A , it doesn’t make a sound but it registers the input of where to hide. It’s similar to hide and sneak (from Mario Party 3), I guess.

Aye, it's not Unbalanced, but it is a bit poorly designed. One or two of the hiding spots, like the bouncy horses, don't disguise your miis at all, so hiding there's a throwaway.

​​@@MarkoIronFistThere is actually an strategy to the visible spot. The seeker can see whether there are miis hiding there or not, so he/she won't waste a turn looking there if no one chose it. When you do the calculation, is actually easier to find three people hiding in six possible places with five attempts than it is to find two people hiding in six possible places in four attempts. So the best thing the team can do is this: One of the players hides in the visible spot, and the rest in whichever other.

Wii Party is criminally underrated! The modes are unique yet engaging, and the minigames are top-notch. I've played this game so many times, that I can win every minigame against Master CPUs without much trouble. Glad to see you guys play this (and eventually Wii Party U).

For the Hide n' Seek minigame, it's one of the few minigames that requires having Wii remote rumble turned on. This is because, when the Hiders press the A button on their desired hiding spot, the wii remote will rumble/vibrate to confirm a Hider's hiding place has been selected

1:32 Okay I’ll summarize it: Pretty much you play a minigame before the turn, instead of after it, the prizes for the mini games aren’t coins but a bonus die for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. The golden die for first has all six numbers, the silver die for second I think has up to four, and the bronze die for third has up to three. As for Last Place, they get nothing!
