This video was amazing. I managed to make a version of the cake with fondant instead of chocolate. I airbrushed the colour which make the painting process a bit quicker. The use of cake pop is awesome as I used all my leftover cake trimmings and icing to make it so was very economical. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and creativity.

Wow, this is just amazing, you are really talented and precise! Is it possible to sculpture something like this using fondant? I'm not a fan of fondant because it has bad taste and rough texture, but I would like to try out modeling with fondant first just for practise, and then go with the modeling chocolate. Once again - I'm stunned by how detailed you are in your videos, thank you so much for being so humble and sharing your modeling magic secrets with us. :)

I thought of a challenge, you should make a complete Lunchable I'm thinking one of the crackers meat and cheese but if you want to do multiple and make Pizza or I think another one are Mini Subs. I believe they come with Capri Suns, needs to have a fruity Center we're when you break it it runs everywhere, like a thick puree. I think for the cheese you could get creative and do like a mango or guava paste or it could be a thin slice of fudge. Second Challenge; make an onion I know you've done one but you need to do it where the layers peel apart, the cake peels apart you could think of a jelly-roll type situation but it's got to have a super thin amount between. Third challenge; make a chef salad, all the bits like bacon and eggs cheese tomato cucumber onion avocado to name some

It’s amazing! Can you share recipe of chocolate covered? I would appreciate that❤️
@kellyfairbairn93334 жыл бұрын
Hi you may have found a recipe by now but the way I do it is for modeling, every 100g of white chocolate you want 40g of golden syrup or if using it to cover a cake I use 45g of golden syrup. Melt the chocolate and let it cool for 5 or 10 minutes then add your syrup and stir until there are no streaks (do not over mix) spread onto a piece of plastic wrap. Wrap it up and leave at room temperature to set over night. It will be very hard. Then you can kneed it till it's soft and pliable. If it's too hard cut into pieces and microwave or just about 5 seconds. If you can't get golden syrup some people use corn syrup or glucose syrup but I don't know if the measurements will be the same. Hope this helps ☺️

I love it!! Quick question. What temperature is most ideal to work in while handling modelling chocolate? Dealing with modelling chocolate can get really warm fast from my hands but sometimes your modelling chocolate looks like it holds up nice & firm. Do you work in a cool environment, let it chill in the fridge a bit throughout the sculpting process or do you make the modelling chocolate a bit more stiff on purpose when making it from scratch? Thank you for sharing your how-to videos. They are really creative & informative. Love from N.C. 💕
@SideserfCakes5 жыл бұрын
I actually use my tools a lot when I'm doing the sculpting. But you can definitely adjust the firmness of the modeling chocolate when making it yourself based on the amount of corn syrup you use. If you haven't seen it, we have a tutorial here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/epnYimyIa5JkarM ❤
