Wish THE SIMPSONS could go back to this simple story format only using characters from within their own small town and add more mysteries around the town and characters within, and I’m gonna be straight up right here when I say this , the singing episodes of the Simpsons are trash, annoying and gotta go. Why does it feel like lately every new episode of the Simpsons has to have some kind of song written into it like a musical, I effing HATE it . Make a theory on why every new season of Simpsons has to include episodes where the characters sing I hate that dynamic so much and its the most annoying thing ever when it comes across an episode and the Simpsons back then didn’t even used to do that , I can even recount an earlier season episode where Nelson starts to casually sing a jingle but it’s too poke fun at Bart even his own “joke” at the end by calling Bart a homophonic slurr at the end of the his little jingle and I honestly wish Simpsons would have stayed brutal like that with no singing at all and when it was used it was for comedic purposes only and it wasn’t more than 15 seconds. Nowadays we get a whole 4 minute song in a Simpsons episode the most annoying thing on the planet
