I have a few 1/6 figures with the rubber around the limbs (all ThreeZero/ Hot Toys video game characters) to hide the joins and i'm kinda in the middle. Once you get a pose they really look great, almost realistic. But you will get either a rip or a crease eventually. My Ada Wong has a noticeable crease on her elbow but man, does the figure look nice. Much better than the Leon Kennedy thats standing right next to her. I think a good middle point is to at least paint or sculpt in some texture to the arms. Several figures I have with exposed limbs, I paint or "dirty up" a bit, so it doesnt look like a $200-300 barbie doll. Asmus Toys does this on a few of their figures, like one of their recent Dantes, and it really helps to blend the arm together.

Just got this today in the mail , and this by far is the most detailed screen accurate leatherface ever made . If you notice on the pretty woman mask you can see that leatherface has a short beard under the mask . There area few production photos from TCM 1974 you see Gunner Hanson without his mask with a beard just like what you see with the head sculpt . one from the dinner scene , and one when he is in killer outfit with his hands covering his mouth area ......point being is sideshow knocked this one out of the park , well worth $300

Great figure! When I see the "old woman" version, the scene where the Old Man screams "you damned fool! You ruined the door" and Leatherface whimpers, comes to mind! It just captured the moment! And "now you just hush, grandpa was the best killer there ever was" to Sally. A crazy film

I put off ordering Leatherface as Michael is always my priority to collect and then I pick up the Leatherface figures later on... I see Sideshow has a wait list for it now but luckily, I was able to purchase it locally for the same price. Definitely displaying it with the 'Pretty Lady' appearance as that is classic Leatherface to me.... swinging the chainsaw as Sally escapes. Perfection.

got mine today brand new…bracelet broke immediately upon trying to put the sledgehammer in his hand…that was disappointing but to top it off? The handle on the chainsaw snapped directly off putting it in the other hand!! Get it together Sideshow because I just paid $260 for 2 accessories to snap & break

Leatherface looks so much better than Michael Myers, you'd think that they were made by two different companies. Michael Myers ended up being a pretty big disappointment. However, Sideshow Collectibles knocked it out of the park when it comes to Leatherface, which is far superior in comparison. For me personally, I really like both, the pretty woman head sculpt and the old lady head sculpt. They are both so iconic that I'd have a hard deciding which one I prefer more. Leatherface has a full head of hair, which has been nicely sculpted and painted. The fact that the skin masks utilize actual fabric threading is a nice touch. I appreciate the fact that there is actual facial hair that was sculpted underneath the skin masks. The entire outfit has some really good stitch work and tailoring. The shirt and apron have some appropriate grime and dirt, which have been applied rather nicely. The figure comes included with a few accessories and I particularly like the chainsaw, which has some nice speckling of grime, rust and blood splatter. There is also a good amount of scratches, which give the impression that it has been heavily used. You are right when it comes to the arms though, which do appear to be lifeless and artificial. I don't expect the entire plastic body to be fully textured and detailed. However, it would've been nice if the arms had some additional paint and texture work and they are a bit on the pale side. I like the inclusion of the veins though. The hands also have some impressive vein work. Speaking of which, they look way better than the hands that came with Michael Myers, which were given an unnecessary dark pink paint application. The display stand is basic and it gets the job done. However, the text and the Leatherface image should've either been a light grey or beige color instead of black. They aren't easily visible as a result. I also like the box art, which has a nice vintage appearance to it. I picked the Sideshow The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 1/6th scale Leatherface figure from my local comic book store recently and I'm very pleased and satisfied with what Sideshow did this time around. I wished that the Michael Myers 1/6th scale figure received the same level of care and attention to detail that Leatherface ended up getting. Otherwise, thanks as always Spot for another great video. I really appreciate the continued hard work. Keep it up!
