This artist reinforces what I heard many years ago about painting characters: Start the same way you get dressed, starting with the skin and then working out layer by layer: undershirts, shirts, pants, jacket, etc. And if these maestros are going it it, it must be legit!

I think the innovative use of that pearlescent paint is going to be a big game-changer for the statues industry. A year from now we'll be seeing various collectibles shimmering with pearl and chrome accents, even those collectibles that don't necessarily call for it.

Thank you for sharing this insider look at the painting process! I ordered mine on day one and immediately began designing a display case worthy of such a beautiful statue. I have 12 other wonderful statues from Sideshow, but I have never been more excited about one than this Dazzler. She is my ultimate favorite character and there has not been a large piece done on her in a very long while. I already have the fine art print and a large reproduction of the cover to Uncanny X-Men 130 that will be incorporated into the display I am building. Michael Myers full.figure standing on round base of scenes from the movie 3. The OTHER version of #2 ,I believe that one is called Silver Screen, The same piece just in black and white. 4.The Batman that Laughs , with all of his chains and hooks, he is incredible. 5. Pennywise kneeling ontop of a coffin 6. Michelle Pfieffer as Catwoman, stretched out holding her whip and comes with a black cat you can pose anywhere. She is remarkably stunning! 7. Ghostface breaking through the doorframe. I want you to know, I go to horror conventions and meet the actors in my favorite movies. I have taken this piece with me to two separate conventions and I now have ALL of the kids autographs from the original movie along the white and green top part of that door frame ! They all loved it when they saw it. This piece is now priceless to me. 8. This one is gonna go WAY off from the rest, lol. The Cinderella piece, where her dress is coming to life. I currently am waiting on the latest Michael Myers full figure standing on a platform of skulls. And the Dr.Loomis figure. I've ordered some other items over the years, but these are the best ones. I've never been unsatisfied with anything I have ever received from you guys. I know I can trust your work, so I'm sticking with you. And it's videos like this one that show me WHY I never have any issues. You take pride in what you put out , and that makes a world of difference.

Oh! I can't believe I left this one out! I also have the T-1000 with the arm piece. AND, I took this piece to Robert Patrick at a convention, and he was so happy to see it, even though he has one. But I had him autograph on the collar of the figure. And in our photo we took together, HE, got the wize idea to grab the metal spike hamd off of the figure and hold it up against my chest, and it was so spur of the moment that he did this , we are pretty much laughing in the photo.
