I am 60 years old. She started working at the drug store when I was 3 years old. Will never forget the little restaurant in the store. Thank you guys for all the adventure's. I am always Watching. This was a great video, they just keep getting better. While others always visit the big corporate type tourist traps that are just about money, Robert takes us to the heart of America and it used to be, the small towns and businesses that made the South and America so special. I love the volunteer in this video, what a sweet southern lady! I wonder what a new air conditioner would cost for that building? The only thing needed would the the air conditioning unit itself, the rest of the system would be in the building. Possibly an air conditioner installer might even have a good used unit that was traded in. I'd be willing to donate towards an air conditioner, how bout anyone else?

Growing up in N E Arkansas I remember these old pump hand held sprayers to kill mosquitos. Used every night. During the day in town a old truck with a big tank on it came around at evening time and fogged the town. These old places are so rich with history that no matter the state in the south we all used the same things. What a treasure.

What breaks my heart is that Lumpkin is a totally dead town. It was once a nice bustling community, but once they made 431 a direct route to Panama City (along with Ft. Benning taking over South Lumpkin Rd) it was doomed to whether on the vine. It along with Ft Gaines has a rich history, but like the rest of Stewart County and the stores in town, it has been totally bypassed.

Positive Reinforcement, various perks were awarded for good to exceptional behavior and work. I wonder if her husband was related to the Georgia Town Founder.
