The younger better and older version of Steve Backshall of him being barefooted was the peak then as a chad back then on the deadly 60 as he was confident cool and strong the way he feels is on himself.

Steve Backshall always reminds me of Ray Mears and Les Hiddins (Bush Tucker Man). Gentle people who respect nature and do their best to blend in with it. Then you have other people like Bear Grylls who try to beat it into submission with a club.

This is Bitis peringueyi, one of the smallest members of the genus commonly known as puff adders, which also includes the common puff adder (B. arietans) and the Gaboon viper (B. gabonica), the latter being the largest member of the group.

Hey Steve why were you wandering around those dunes without any shoes under a roasting sun surrounded by venomous stings and bites just waiting to be stepped on?

He feels so much better suitable fitting and confortabile to himself without sweeting too much his feet while walking in shoes like a real and brave chad that he feels very confident in the way he believes in himself like a cool guy.

It is just me or anyone think Steve backshall always walks barefooted in the wild is one of his reassons not wearing shoes so it can feel his feet more comfortable ?!😂😂😊🦶🏜 So walking barefooted with no shoes on desert sands dunes could be so dangereous to touch it intentionally on something hard if they are poisonous scorpions & puffadders around.

I was in the Sahara a few years ago and something stung or bit me on my Achilles heel. It hurt like crazy but there was no sign of whatever creature had done it. It was all a bit of a mystery.
