I gotta say, I hope Penguin fans never take Sid for granted. He's been the best player in the world since the day he was drafted but I don't just mean his talent. In this day and age with all the goons and thugs that are playing pro sports, it's nice to have such a driven and well spoken young man play for our team that also is the best player in the league! All the haters of all the other teams in the NHL will talk their trash, but I guarantee you there isn't one other coach or gm in the NHL that wouldn't love to have him on their roster!

Vlad Khudyshkin well whether he is or isn't hes still high up there you def cant take that away from him his drive speaks for itself, at the same time its a team sport so fans who rely on just one or two players alone isn't the way to go

Pittsburgh Penguin fans have been spoiled over the past 2 decades with great players like Lemieux, Jagr and now Crosby and Malkin (when he wants to play) I agree that it's not all about one great player as it takes a team to win but it's still exciting to watch as far as being a fan of the team. I still hold firm in my belief, howerver, that Crosby is the best player in the league and the stats prove that but he's STILL the 3rd best Penguin of all time. 1) Lemieux 2) Jagr.......Sid has got some work to do in the playoffs when it counts, to move past either of them.

i agree mario and jagr def set the bar really high but crosby and malkin have a fairly good dynamic going for them right now both their numbers will definitely shoot up in time in terms of goals/assists and what not but thus far there in a pretty comfortable spot sid alone is about 19 assists away from 500 which is pretty incredible
