Sidney Crosby's 24 Goals in 2007-08 (HD)

After the 2006-07 season on May 31, 2007 Crosby became the youngest player named captain in NHL history later surpassed by Gabriel Landeskog then Connor Mcdavid.
Coming from a successful sophomore season, Sidney Crosby has proven to be an elite NHL star. This season would further solidify that. After signing a 5 year, 43.5 million contract expectations would further increase. Crosby was off to a terrific start, getting his first 14 goals faster than he ever did it before but unfortunately he had a goal slump then an injury that would keep him from playing for 29 games. This would be one of a few more seasons hindered by injuries. Crosby ended the season with 48 assists and 72 points in 53 games which was on pace for 111 points. The Penguins themselves had a great year finishing 1st in the division thanks to the likes of Evgeni Malkin, Sergei Gonchar, Petr Sykora and star Goalie Marc-Andre Fluery. Crosby was back in time for the playoffs and they made it to the Stanley Cup Finals which they hadn't done in 16 years but lost to the Detroit Red Wings. Although there weren't many, enjoy these 24 goals nonetheless!
