I am a native german speaker and after watching the interview it seems like he is just trying to find reasons to be allowed to apply his craft. He does not seem to really believe in the western ideals as he proclaims. As others may find their calling in the arts or sciences he seems to have found it in killing, death and war theories. Taking human lives is to him what applying paint to a canvas may be for others. He certainly is far to eloquent to have lost his mind. Which is far more terrifying than a murderous madman when you think about it.

I read a book years ago, I think it was "Someone Else's War" by Anthony Rogers; anyways, it had a section on Hoare and his operation in Congo and it noted that Müller was dismissed from service owing to his command style and how he socialized with the soldiers, all of which ran counter to Hoare's British Army background and desire to run the force in that way.

Mike Hoare dismissed Siegfried Mueller because his leadership style caused disunity and low morale amongst the men in his unit, 52 Commando. Some of his ancestors might have been functionaries for the Prussian state. Sometimes, capable administrators were elevated to low noble status for this. The German family names derived from work (like Müller, Schmied/Schmitt, Meier) were generally established in the late medieval period or renaissance period, so there was some time for a family to rise to low nobility status.

To fight in Africa, you have to adapt to the local customs ! Why do you think NATO troops fail on the ground ? The "horrors" these mercenaries committed are yet less than what the locals did. I knew a mercenary who told me they machine gun down, burned to the ground, killing everyone a village where they found part of Europeans bodies prepared to be eaten ! I have military in the family, in Kolwezi they had to refrain their soldiers from retaliating when they saw all the bodies, pregnant women cut open, raped, killed from infant to the elderly....etc.. See what they STILL DO today ! In Rwanda, millions killed with machetes, cannibal fighters in Liberia etc.... Leftist revisionism must be EXPOSED !

Also you're severely distorting his youth etc.. he didn't "join" the Jungvolk. You were made to join. He also didn't join the RAD (Labour Service). He was drafted, it's what you did before going to the army, unless you were a university student and could get a deferement (not likely for most people, esp. the longer the war went on, but pre-war sure). It was a sort of pre-military raising for most of Germany's menfolk, starting with Jungvolk, Hitlerjugend, RAD. Ever increasing in discipline, military training etc. and the RAD mostly built fortifications and helped with the harvests.

If you are not concerned about the Simba's crimes then why are you concerned about the Mercenaries 'war crimes'? I love the morals of the 21st century. If this story involved trans people being raped and murdered for being trans the commentator would mention it and disapprove but because this story only involves alot of white people (too many of them children) being raped and murdered he barely mentions it and just calls the Simba "rebels". Well ok, I hope this standard of morality is consistent from now on because I am sick of hearing people criticize the Russians or the Nazis. They were just soldiers like the Simba were just rebels, no need to mention any of the disgusting, horrific, cowardly shit that was done to women and kids. We can ignore that.

It's a summary of Siegfried's actions, not the war. Siegfried committed war crimes, so it's relevant to bring them up. The exact details of the conflict, as well as any atrocities participated by the opposition, are irrelevant. Note he doesn't bring up war crimes done by other mercenaries, just Siegfried. Shut the fuck up and quit trying to drag trans people into your cringe defense of a Nazi gun-for-hire.

@@stefanradev7034 yes, because the politicians wanted more power, the communist's wanted another communist country and the scumbags wanted to rape and steal. There is no justification for the atrocities carried out by the 'rebels' especially not power and personal greed. Its ironic you suggest I need a safe space when it is the limp wristed creator of this video who runs away from the truth while you try to justify the murder and rape of children. But that is what I have come to expect from left wing Americans. Really scum. But nevermind your sad way of thinking will screw you in the end. No one can justify the rape and murder of kids or support it as you do and live a good life. I pity you.

From 1975 to 1978 I fought in the Angola war on the other team side, do you really think that we were any different? war is not the glorify version that Hollywood want people to believe, is ugly dirty a cruel and generally speaking the civilian population is the one that most often than not is at the receiving end of the gun, sad true. The ugliest part of human nature comes out in war.
