Congo Crisis | European Mercenaries Interviewed in Kindu | November 1964

November 1964.
An interview with an assortment of European mercenaries fighting during the conflict which wracked the Congo in the 1960s.
Kindu became notorious for a massacre (The "Kindu Massacre" or "Kindu Atrocity"), which took place on either November 11 or 12 1961 in Kindu Port-Émpain. Thirteen Italian airmen, members of the United Nations Operation in the Congo (ONUC), were murdered.

My dad was prescribed Ephedrine when he was in the British Army in 1946, for his PTSD. His town was bombed in 1941 and he walked through burning Manchester England. My guess is that they're using Khat. It grows on trees. 😂
