I got this machine today, just finished the first wash and dry cycle. I REALLY wanted this machine but it was just too expensive for me, but the exact day I went to the store to look at machines they had a sale on this specific one at almost half price. The choice was obvious and I feel super lucky. This machine is SO quiet and it really does dry well, it would have been worth the full price.

@@WasherIQ It doesn't always dry things like we expect, but I'm not too much in a hurry that I can't just dry it for another hour. It does make some noise, but I think that's my mistake as I didn't balance it perfectly (it's a very heavy machine). I do not regret it at all and I'm gonna balance it perfectly soon. The drying is generally good for this type of machine, it just needs a bit extra sometimes and I don't mind it.

dwerg2k that sounds pretty good to me 😁 for me it’s bedsheets and jeans that tend not do dry fully... but as you said I just redry them for 1 hour. I found out that if you listen to the machines KG allowance per wash (plus maybe 1 extra kg 😂) it actually dries them perfectly (when the material is the same too) but glad to hear you are also happy with it! Not mixed
@dwerg1

@@WasherIQ Yeah especially bedsheets. 1 set is usually fine if I activate the extra drying mode, might need 30 minutes occasionally. Any more and it's definitely wet. Jeans work very well for me actually, can wash a fairly big load too and get it dry on the same program cycle. I don't bother to weigh my clothes, I just guesstimate. I find that 1kg is hard to guesstimate, so for the programs allowing smaller loads I generally put in too much 😂

Hello ! As you are so kind every time to answer I have a new question. Today I did finally a cycle of cotton 60 with the ecoperfect mode......I am wondering why the temperature didnt exceed the 30 degrees during all the cycle...Is that normal? or the resistance is broken?
@WasherIQ
@WasherIQ 4 жыл бұрын
Hi, no problem at all! Actually yes, this is correct and your washing Machine is not broken. Remember what I said about ecoperfect on our last conversation? Eco mode washes longer but on lower temperatures to reach the same level of cleanness while save energy and water. It's not ideal if you want to antibacterially wash but it's good for colored cloths that need a good wash but not in high temperatures. BSH heating works kinda like this on eco perfect: 90C =60-75C max temp on eco perfect 60C= 30-45c Maxtemp on Eco perfect 40C= 20-30C max temp on eco perfect 30C= 15-20C max temp on eco perfect I hope this helps 😄

@@WasherIQ OH thank you so much for the reply! So today I did a cotton cycle at 40 degrees , and I found amazing that when you low the speed of spinning at 800 the washing action is much more gentle and even the temperature was lower! But I am still convinced that despite the descoloration and the full wash , the machine set up only two low rinses when in bring down the speed ! If I keep at max speed , the machine does easily a better sensing ! I don't know why this is set up like that! Next time will add the extra water! So ecological! Result is that clothes smell quite weirdly! Something I would like to understand! Is the high speed really making clothes shorter? Otherwise I just let always the high speed

Hello! As you are so kind always to reply I have a new question......Did you ever tried the cotton 60 eco perfect mode? I tried today, and the temperature didn't reach the 60, it staid at 30 degrees, I know that normally the cotton eco raised to temperature to 50 for the 60,,,,,but mine did a wash of 4 hours only at 30 degrees.....weird? Did the resistance break?
@WasherIQ
@WasherIQ 11 күн бұрын
This is correct, Eco tries to wash at lower temperatures with less water. Eco 60 means, it will wash at a low temperature but with the quality of a 60C normal cotton wash. So this means it will clean like a 60C wash but it will wash it longer at a lower temperature. This is what the Eco cycle has been made for (To save water and Electricity). I you want a real 60C wash I would recommend Hygiene 60

@WasherIQ
@WasherIQ 4 жыл бұрын
Lie Feral Hi! Yes it is polycarbonate (Thermoplastic) to protect you and your children from the heat inside of the drum when the machine is drying. The temperature inside of the drum reaches 50C - 90C while drying and to the touch that would be very dangerous, which is why almost every Washer&Dryer has a polycarbonate protection sheet infront of the real door

Does it this final spin (four intervals with increasing spin speed) only in the "wash+dry" - mode or also in the "wash only" - mode?
@WasherIQ
@WasherIQ 4 жыл бұрын
Only on wash & dry mode. It takes its time with the spin for wash and dry to make sure that the cloths aren’t tangled up. I find it a bit time wasting to be honest as on the wash only mode it does 3 intervals with short breaks to losen them from the drum. Basically wash and dry final spin: 15-30min Final spin on Wash only: 10-15min

Glitter Lifestyle honestly I am pretty happy with the IQ500 and it does make the clothes bone dry... when I first remote the clothes out of the washer they feel little damp but the second I shake them they actually become bone dry in seconds ... the isensoric drying sensors know when to stop before damaging your clothes I think with Siemens and Bosch you are pretty safe to get your laundry washed and dried properly

Hello I have an issue with my Bosh ! So I thought I could ask you! I did notice that when I do a full charge cycle of cotton at 60 degrees, and I change the spinning to 1000 instead of max 1200, my washer does only 2 very low water level rinses !! This is really an issue ....is it related to the spinning ? Or ? It is really weird but I never get 3 rinses with the cotton cycle unless i use water + and in that case it makes threes very very high water level..... I would like to find a way to have economy but good rinse! My whites were not smelling good at all!
@WasherIQ
@WasherIQ 4 жыл бұрын
Interesting! So with lowering the spin the machine tries to be a bit more gentle with the clothing hence changing the spin procedure or changing the way how it washes the cloths, but 2 low level water rinses is standard in BSH Machines (Siemens/Bosch), it only changes the level of water and amount of rinses if the isensoric sensors see to much washing powder or discolouration. This is why I always select water plus if I am washing more then half of the machine capacity (for example my machine is 10 wash so if I am washing 5kg or less I don't use water plus but if I am washing more then 5 kg I always use water plus) this makes sure they are clean and smell good :) maybe this works for you

Hi 👋 has this machine for a couple of months now - unfortunately clothes are getting horribly shrunk - we have mostly cotton clothes - but every time wash and dry they get a little bit smaller? When clothes finish they are super hot 🥵 is there any way of reducing drying temperature ? Even if meant a longer drying cycle?
@WasherIQ

Hey! Yes there is! I would recommend you to Wash and dry separately. So once the wash cycle finishes. Select dry only with eco mode on the program you want: for example easy care, cupboard dry (not plus!) and then select option Eco. It dries slower with lower heat protecting shrinking

@WasherIQ
@WasherIQ 3 жыл бұрын
Hi! So the drying is very very good! When you first take it out it feels a bit wet but once you shake the clothes it actually is dry. This is because the Siemens Isensoric tries not to overdry your clothes! This is a washer dryer combo, it isn’t perfect like a separate dryer but as long as you listen to the agreed KG for drying it will do very well!

Same model machine but vibrates and even moves when omit gets to the spin cycles what could be the issue
@WasherIQ
@WasherIQ 3 жыл бұрын
Hello Lionel! With these Washer Dryers it is absolutely vital that the feet of the machine are correctly set up. Make sure with a spirit level that the feet of the machine are levelled on your kitchen/Utility room floor. Because this machine is very heavy (92KG) it will shake and start moving if it is not levelled correctly. Another issues is, again because its so heavy: Wooden floor. If your machine is on wooden floor you will have no other choice but to level the feet and then squish a little piece of rubber between the machine and the kitchen counter/Wall. I bought those Rubber feet from Amazon because of my neighbour (I do not recommented them as they don't do much and sometimes make it worse!) and because of my wooden kitchen floor. The feet made the vibration worse so I took off and used one of those rubber feet and squished it between the machine and the kitchen counter and that stopped everything. Since then its running super smooth without shaking. Honestly if your kitchen floor is not stable, its normal for a machine to move... to stop it, adjusting the feet should be enough.. but if it isn't then you will have to squish something between the wall and your machine to stop it (this is not recommend by the manufacturers and is something I personally do).

What is that ticking noise as it turns clockwise? I only ask as I have a Siemens machine which has recently started making the same noise. My only guess is possibly the shocks? I don't think there is anything wrong, it's just anoying. BTW, awesome machine, always loved the styling of the Siemens washer dryers.
@WasherIQ
@WasherIQ 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! I absolutely agree with you, Siemens just as a unique style which I also very much love! So to answer you question: Yes you are right, it's the shocks. Apparently every new washing machine starts doing this clicking noise as the shocks are getting used. Apparently after a while it stops completely by it self. Believe me I also found it very annoying but my machine stopped doing it now :) There is no timeline when it will stop but the more you use it the more it will get used to the weight and stop with the ticking. A lot of new Miele owners also have the same problem but it does disappear after use :) I hope this makes you feel a bit more at ease. Thank you for your lovely comment!
