Siemens WM16XGH1GB iQ700 iSensoric 10kg - Cottons varioSpeed

Here the Siemens is on the Cottons cycle with varioSpeed. This will do a longer length wash, interim spins than on previous generations, and also now does the full Cottons spin on varioPerfect rather than a very short spin at max speed. This does make it slightly longer than the previous generations on Cottons varioSpeed, wit Mixed Fabrics now being the cycle that will give you a 60 degree 1600 spin cycle in an hour.
In my opinion this cycle gives fantastic results even on heavily soiled laundry and makes the longer length cycles unnecessary.

Thank you :) you can probably see why I never use the full length cycles now given cottons varioSpeed is nice and thorough - after all who has 4 hours to wait for a load of washing 😉

The Wash House you are exactly right! 4hrs is too long! But I do like that they now do the full cottons final spin on Speed. They must of thought most people would use Speed! Having used the same cycle, I did see some differences.. I hope you don’t mind, I’ve linked to this video from my description 👍😉

Don’t need BSH is one of the quietest washing machines on the market LG does not protect the laundry as well as BSH does much better wash/rinse

If you aren’t around at the end of the cycle, it’s best to choose “rinse hold” option 👍 But, I guess there’s no anti-crease because it’s designed to get the job done quickly! 👍

TheLaunderetteExplorer_UK I’ve a Miele, the quick cotton wash take 1:34 for 9 kg and in the end it dose the anti crease, it does for 30 minutes and I can stop it at any time.

I was initially a bit worried at first, but to be honest the Siemens leaves things less creased than my W1 does even on the more delicate cycles

Siemens should name this machine a iQ800 model rather than a iQ700 model.

@@TheWashHouse Ok sorry, I thought that Siemens still sold the iQ800 series as in here they still sell some of these but with the iDos system; just like the Bosch HomeProfessional we have here.

Oh I see,I didn’t realise there was an iQ800 series. The series above iQ700 here is Avantgarde, but they’ve now been discontinued :(
