This is an absolutely BRILLIANT scene. Sienna handled it graciously, even with Juliet's grilling about who pushed him. I cannot say enough how *IMPORTANT* talks like this are nowadays, ESPECIALLY in schools. Well done, Hollyoaks. 👏👏

Legally there is a problem with what Sienna did, since giving her version the way she did, she could be accused of witness tampering, should any of the kids in the class be called as witnesses in the case against Laurie. Even if they didn`t see the incident on the balcony directly, they could be asked about how Laurie appeared that night, where he was at which times of the night and more. So should the defense learn about this little talk, they could use it to undermine the credibility of both those students testifying, as well as to undermine Sienna`s general credibility.

@@Tvjunkieful12 well, given the fact that Anna Passey has said Laurie will return in the summer leads me to believe that there is something that went wrong, or your previous comment about how he would only be tried for the attempted rape of Diane is correct. I absolutely understand the legal implications of what Sienna said, the bigger picture really is that these kinds of talks *NEED* to be implemented in today's schools. There is far too little information about these kinds of abuse and how they are often overlooked, what signs to look for, what to do, who to talk to, etc, etc. Cheers! x ☺️

@@marian3nene45 I am not disagreeing educating youth about sexual predators, the boundaries between flirting and sexual harassment and more are important and necessary for school youths - even kids - to be informed about. Just today a 27 year old Norwegian was convicted of having abused no less than 458 boys around Scandinavia within a 3 year periode, using the internet. Most of them by tricking them into believing he was a girl called Sandra, and that way got them to send "Sandra" sexual footage of themselves. He got 16 years in prison for this - meaning he will at least be 37+ when he gets out of jail. But Sienna is not the right person to talk the students - at least not until AFTER Laurie`s trial is over, and the verdict finally decided. THEN Sienna is free to say whatever she wants to. But before that - because she potentially could compromise both evidence inadvertently, or place herself in danger of being deemed to have tampered with witnesses - she needs to keep her mouth shut, and not speak about the case to anyone other than the police or her therapist.

I absolutely agree with what you said about Sienna, and the fact she should've at least waited til whatever trial they're going to have is over to talk about it in that context with *anyone* let alone students. I also agree with your statement about how Diane's attempted rape is most likely going to be the only thing that properly sticks to Laurie's case, and that's why I said Laurie will definitely be back sooner than everyone thinks. Yes, there is most definitely a time and place and a correct way to discuss these issues, and as courageous as her words were, it wasn't the right time.

I am absolutely loving all of Sienna's old enemies becoming her new friends! I know the history between these two and it was horrible what Sienna did to Nancy but to see them putting it behind them and Nancy even offering to mentor Sienna...I think the writers have done wonderfully in keeping some of Sienna's old crazy tendencies but really redeeming her in such a heartwarming way. She's still capable of anything but she has learned to lean on friends and how to mend fences. Well done Hollyoaks!
