Hey Sienna! 💜 15:12 - Geralt of Rivia card! Back when I played this game, he was just a unique 15-strength card. Now he has a "Summon Roach" ability, which plays the Roach card. Clearly a nod to how you can summon Roach anywhere. And it's hilarious that the Roach card shows Roach on the roof with Geralt looking on. :D You played really well though! I don't recall if you've beaten that guy before, but he has some great cards. Wonder if you'll win a special card from him. 27:21 - You looted a flower right next to the guard. I think that's why they want hostile. :) 34:05 - "Why I oughta..." followed by some rather epic dissing of Geralt. :D 58:33 - Masterfully played. You didn't back down in that first round, and it paid off! And you won the Dandelion card! (I don't remember this, may not have been around back when I played) 59:50 - The last time they were at a party, Geralt ended up breaking Dijkstra's leg. 1:09:40 - It's actually possible to kiss her and still successfully romance Yen later on. But this moment forced you to see how you really felt. So I guess now we know who you'd really go for. :) Another great episode! Oh yeah, I think you have some Witcher swords in your inventory. They might be needed if you want to craft their higher versions. And don't forget you have upgraded formulae for your potions/oils. Looking forward to the next one! 💜

You should do the "Swords and Dumplings" quest, you will unlock the best blacksmith in the base game which has more funds to buy all the shit you have in your inventory

it's a tough quest to do early and he give you a sword which is not really good

if your still unsure on romancing triss you should reload to kiss her as its necessary to do otherwise you cant choose her (the kiss will not affect Yen)

Nope, it only needs you to help her in 'Now or Never', ask her to stay, and tell her you love her.

I don't think your deck is ready for 'High Stakes' yet. I recommend you wait with that a lot longer. Buy more cards, win more basic matches and complete the other gwent quests (including one in Skellige) first.

megmage pretty accurately describes my thoughts on the whole Yen vs Triss thing. (she’s also read the books) as i suck at putting my thoughts into words lol. i’d reccomend her playthrough to watch after if you (or anyone else) is looking for a witcher playthrough where the person also gets super invested like you !!

@@gtpower3i think she was just worried it was heading a different direction, but once she was reassured it wasn’t she seemed better with it. :) it’s kinda understandable as a lot of games that deal with those topics don’t touch on them the best way (especially considering things that were happening irl around that time)

The option of locking in the romance is much later in Triss's quest. Not kissing her during the ball locks you out from the option to romance her.

Bouncing back on you pressing the gwent button by accident a couple of times, you should probably still play gwent every time you encounter someone you haven't beaten yet, it will feel more natural and fluid that way rather than you having to go back to 17 different locations in a row for gwent

Ok, now it would be good for you to remember (or keep notes) that you still have cards to win from Elihal, book seller at Hierarch Square and Blacksmith at the fish market, even though the gwent dialogue line is greyed out. Well done being so tenacious with gwent at the ball. This is the point where players who haven't taken gwent seriously, are not stubborn enough or just too caught up in the festivities will fail the collection quest.

Keep the shirts they are needed for forging witcher armor selling all the junk is good , it's hardly ever necessary and it can weight you down

Gwent addiction is real. But you should try not to throw the first round immediately. And getting rid of Commanders horns and Decoys is good, you really just need one of each in a n optimal Deck, you have the Dandelion Card now, that does the horn effect for the melee row.

After replaying this game 5 times, I've romanced Yen 1 time (my 1st playthrough), the other 4- all Triss. I'm not gonna totally spoil it for you, but it's for a very simpe reason: Yen has, let's just say an "unbearable nagging attitude" lol While Triss on the other hand- not only do I prefer her looks- but she's much more sweeter and easy-going towards Geralt.

LoL. We are quite the opposite. First time Triss (just because she's been there since The Witcher 1) and the rest playthrough's Yenna :D She's defo complicated character with many flavours while Triss is "just a good gal" imo.

I usually analyse it in literary terms as Yenn (~94) represents the magical female equivalent of Gerlt's (~100) straightforward masculine violence. Triss (~50) is a much nicer person but represents more of an immature crush than the mature affection from Yenn (when she isn't upsetting or abusing everyone).
