Nice looking tent. Yes I agree 2 man tents are really only comfortable for one. As 4 is for two and so forth. You don't want to elbow or kick someone in the face. Plus it gives you room for gear. I bought the Mountain Hardwear Optic 3.5 tent for 2 people. Thanks for the review it does look durable. The ground is slanted. Possibly that is the reason. That is horrible you have to buy extra stakes. Most come with them. I love that mat.

Great video! I bought one of these on a whim at the beginning of the year because there was practically zero reviews on it. But it seemed to have it all: free standing, ultralight, roomy (I use it as a solo as well). You're right though, the door is a bit awkward. Almost difficult to get in and out but I blame that on my experience with mostly side entrance tents. I would say it packs down pretty small as well. I got lucky and found one on Sierra Trading Post for $150. Even with the backpackers award, this tent was extremely under-rated. Glad someone else id showing some Sierra Designs love!

Thanks for the comment. I agree I really like most the sierra design products. This tent isn't for everyone but definitely fits my needs. The only real downside would be the sloping front door but like I said in the video it really isn't a deal breaker. I've taken this tent all over and love it so far.

Great review. Sad to see Sierra only doing single wall tents now, some of their double wall designs were pretty awesome.

I do love their products and I would really like to get my hands on one of their new single/double wall hybrid tents but it's hard to justify the expense when I already have a perfectly good two man tent.

Great review. It's a shame Sierra doesn't make double wall tents anymore they had some good "designs ".

Thank you for the comment. It is a shame however some of their newer tents are pretty sweet. Lightweight and fast set up on most of them.
