Thank you so most for this, because a lot of times people write or talk about the bad things not the good. I am from Sierra Leone. I try to go see my mother ever year, at least one. Thank you. May The Almighty God bless you all. Amen.

We have a wonderful country which is very unique Stop comparing it with western culture calling it the New York or Athens of Africa Please stop having this white complex It is a unique country by itself. I cant imagine Europeans or Americans saying the Freeetown of Europe or Freetown of North America How stupid it always sounds

Exactly! When I heard that I thought "What???" Both places are beautiful and desirable in their own right. Yes! However, Sierra Leone has very little in common with a wealthy, big, bustling, aggressive and fast paced commercial city with huge sky scraper buildings such as New York! Lagos in Nigeria is more like New York. I guess I need to remember that this video, although it is showing nice things, is not so much about Sierra Leone as it is about attractions for the tourist market.

Great comment. But note this... We risked our life's to shot this video during the Ebola pandemic, and it was aimed to attract Western tourism back to Sierra Leone. We had to compromise with allot of things. As an African , I know Africa is unique in its own right.
