Nursing school is just brutal no matter where you go to school. It's the nature of the beast. When I was in school, I never read the book. I had to use whatever brain cells I had left to study and learn the material. LOL. I would only go into the book to clarify a topic. I lasted 22 years in the ICU and left and went back to school for another degree in a totally different field. One item that really helped me with my 2nd degree, that I wish I had when I was in nursing school was an Apple watch. In my iCalendar, I would enter all of my tests, projects, meetings, etc. and enter it as an "event" with a alert a few days earlier. It took awhile to enter everything on my Mac, but I loved just looking at my watch to see what I had coming down the pike. If I needed the second hand for the day, I would just change the face on my Apple watch for the day. It's so much easier to stay on top of things with technology now than it was 26 years ago. ( I know, I dating myself). LOL. Good luck in your nursing career! I don't ever regret my education or work experience. Nursing school was the hardest thing I ever did in my life to this day!

Thank you for this video ❤️ truly, I start on the 20th and the closer it gets the more stressed out I get! I’m excited but I’m a single mom and work, mostly worried about being able to manage and utilize my time so I’m successful. This video really helped calm my nerves and I’ll probably watch it several time throughout my first quarter when I’m feeling discouraged or stressed. You’re an amazing person ❤️

Congrats on 4K subscribers! I’m so happy to see this channel growing - you deserve it! Time management is HUGE. I’m trying to get better at studying everyday (except our clinical days - they’re 12 hours). Do you include assignments as part of study time, or do you allot time for assignments separately?
@SierraLyn3 жыл бұрын
Thank you!💛 & I FEEL YOU! I don't do anything on clinical days other than clinical, they're exhausting.. I don't include assignments as part of study time, but I don't see a problem with that because you're definitely learning too!
